Who will be running for 3rd ward alderman? I know Nancy Rita is my alderman, no clue who the other one is. Whoever they are, they do nothing. I've called Nancy with some issues and she's handled the next day.

Your other alderman is Mark Potasa. He's the one who tried cramming home rule down our throats again. Other than that he does NOTHING. Lord pray for us if he gets elected again.

He is the chair of the finance committee, has promoted many of the mayor's pet projects, and he is the Jawa 2nd chair for BI. Mark is doing a fine job, just ask any of the residents of his ward.

More like proven lap dog!! Not to mention a Peloquin nibble head. The guy is useless. I didn't vote for him the first time and definitely won't be this time.

So more people voted against him. Doesn't surprise me.

As long as he runs against more than one candidate he will win. It's a Political reality that some here find difficult to comprehend.

Power has eroded on both sides, voters are dissatisfied and annoyed. In the up coming election it will certainly be more difficult to predict clear winners due to the backlash.

He was also the biggest fan of Home Rule. Not letting that nerd back into office. My dog can do a better job.

I must correct my first prediction! After I reviewed the 2010 census info, it is apparent that he will not win, no matter how many enter the race.

Why, after reviewing the 2010 census, is it apparent that he will not win? What changed dramatically from 2009 to 2010?

Nothing. He just likes to act omniscient when it comes to Blue Island.

Most of the blind supporters with six figure jobs have moved on or are underemployed; significantly reducing flexible income for campaign donations. They are evaluating ethics, commitment, service, community projects, development, dedication, property values, and see it all unraveling.

If u have ever talked to this arrogant punk, u could see why more people voted against him. No one wants to see him elected again. Ask any 3rd ward resident!

Heard the Latinos and the Blacks support him as well. Could be scary for his opponents.
