How long does it usually take to find a moderate-paying job in Marion?

I just ETS'd from the Marine Corps, and have been applying at places like Utility, Woodgrain, General Dynamics etc. for four weeks now, and haven't gotten an interview yet. I'm currently on unemployment, and it compensates notably more than minimum wage, so I'm not keen on taking a job at Food Lion for the time being.
On average, how long does it usually take to get a call back from the factories / plants in this area?

It depends on your education, qualifications, experience, work record, and if they are hiring in your field.

Go to the VEC. They helped me with my cover letter and resume. I eventually got a job as a federal contractor at NASA. Keep a record of all the jobs you applied for including job descriptions. Job hunting involves marketing.

Utility in Atkins laid off people but there is plently workers in Glade. Maybe apply at the one in glade if you havent already? But it takes awhile depending on circumstances listed as the other person said.
