We've had a rough month due to an injury and will not have another paycheck for at least another week. After tomorrow I have no idea how to feed my family. We just need help over this hump, so please don't suggest food stamps or tanf. Thank you!

I know that Main street mission, and other local churches do have food banks, and certain dist. nights. However, most of them can and will allow you to get food other than on those certain nights. I suggest calling Mt. Cap, Main street mission and the other local churches. Check with Chilhowie Christian church as well. Good luck to you,and prayers for an easier path in the future.
Food banks United States	Reply » \| Report Abuse \| Judge it! \| #3 Jan 28, 2013 Judged: 1 Atkins first church of god first tuesday of each month 4:30-6:30 , first united methodist church third thursday of each month , main st mission every thursday 6:00pm, loaves & fishes food pantry (chilhowie) first and third thursday 10-12 & 6:30-7:30, soup kitchen every friday at francis marion senior center (open to everyone) 11am-1, mountain cap 9-12 & 1-4:30 everyday. I hope these are a help to you and your family. Not being ignorant or anything because I know you asked no one to suggest food stamps but social services does have a "temporary" program that will help you an when your no longer in need you dont have to follow up..may god bless you
