Yeah that photo is circulating but I very seriously doubt that the snake in those pics is from Hungry mother, do you all not think it would be in the paper if something like that was found?

It was posted by someone who was told it was at hungry mother but the person was told incorrectly (either by joke or accident, not sure).
It was a 13 ft. Diamondback Rattler killed in NC, not HMSP--so i was told.

sorry, but there are no diamond backs in n,c. timber ratlers are what you folks have, you won't find diamond backs until you get to the upper part of fl,

I have found Eastern Diamondbacks just south of Wilmington, NC...they're found throughout the lower coastal NC down to Florida and over to Louisiana.

They don't really make good zombies but make really good lawyers.

There was an article, in Sports Afield Magazine
back in the 80's of an 8' 11" eastern diamond-
back rattler killed near Ocala FL. The snake was
trying to enter a chicken coop on the mans farm.
The owner was alerted by the noise of his terrified flock. To stop the giants intrusion he
threw a step-ladder on top of the snake, then
chopped off it's head with a hoe! Had he captured the snake alive, the US Dept of Natural
History would have paid $50,000 for it!

That is not what Ripleys believe it or not says. It says 96 inches. Until that is changed I have to go with the Ripley record. Perhaps you could send me some of what you are smoking. You could probably be a winning candidate at the local liars contest.
