It would appear that the termination of one of the most qualified City Managers in Ohio combined with a poorly run selection process - this is the second final pool - has successfully scared away qualified Ohio candidates from the process.

Keep beating that dead horse. I'm sure he'll get up and cross the finish line yet!

"one of the most qualified City Managers in Ohio"...

What a laugh riot. Qualified to allow city employees to run amok and do anything but their jobs? Check. Qualified to allow city employees to surf porn in City Hall? Check.

Get back to work, Lance. You're next.

It would appear that you did not see the original article that listed all 52 applicants. Many were from Ohio. Maybe the committee opted to NOT select to interview candidates from Ohio because they were not as qualified as others. You really need to get a grip Keith, people are SOOOOO over your continued comments about how Tim was "one of the most qualified City Managers in Ohio". He had been released from several jobs throughout his career. Do you need to be reminded which ones and why?? Get over it and let the dead horse be as noted.

There are Junta's in 3rd world countries with more direction and stability than Pick-town government.

I just feel sorry for the candidate that's selected because they have to pick up their lives and move here only to get fired or wish they could quit.

I've lived in Pick-Town for 18 years and city government still is comprised by ego centric children.

Being that unhappy and still staying here 18 years tells me more about you than the egocentric children.

I think change is good and it looks like we are on the right track.

Take heart Larry, someone somewhere is bound to believe your resume someday!

I am not from Pickerington but it seems strange that there are a lot of "former city whatevers" on the list. It also seems strange that they can't find ANYONE qualified that is closer than Tennesse. I have had my experience with the types they've chosen to interview...they sound good on paper but don't produce results.
