The driveway paving scam one that gypsies have had proprietary rights for decades. It is an old scam and ranks with the Nigerian e-mail scams.

did the Chambersburg substation of the PSP have to rely on McConnelsburg or Carlisle for help since all their units are tied up harassing an old lady over a lawnmower and some petunias?

I'm a little unclear of the purpose of your comment. It is obvious the 81 year old has a true golden heart or is uncapable of making a sound judgement. Thus she can not be faulted in any way by the scam that these dirt balls did. I'm so sick of folks taking advantage of others. I heard the Coyle Library and Wilson was broken into. These dirt balls broke the entrance windows causing thousands in damage to steal a donation jar that had about 10 dollars in it. Society better soon throw out some painful punishments on these criminals to set an example or will be even more doomed than we already are.

I think anyone needs to be leary of these door to door floaters.

Also, this is the time of year when you may be visited by the roving meat sellers. What a joke. If I need to purshase meats it will be from a professional butchering business or at the grocery market.

Our recent scam was by a guy selling magazine subscriptions to help "inner city kids". He had a red ball cap on backwards with the tags still attached and walked with a swagger. I listened to his puke, as he caught me outside, and blew him completely off but unfortunately between my 2 neighbors they gave him checks totaling $70. He had an ultrasound photo of his "first unborn son".

One of the major scams during the past five years is that pulled off by Axelrod, Emanuel, Jarrett, and a big-eared community organizer from Chicago. Millions were scammed and cast their votes for Obama. One year after electing him, millions now realize they've been had and are defecting in droves. His approval plummeted and continues to fall. Millions of voters, lots of them Independents, thought Obama would be a centrist. He is not. He's a radical Leftist.

Thank you Lt. Lauer for keeping me safe. You, along with the Sheriff and Chief Arnold are great Americans.

Nearly the same thing happened to my mom which is 83. She lives in Washington Twsp. Three men in a white truck with WV tags. Charged her $2000.00 for a driveway approx. 20' x 20'. They performed the work and she signed a contract and gave them a check. A contract that should have been for about $400.00 max. Went to the police, tried to stop payment on the check 2 hrs after it happened. TOO LATE!! They cash the check somehow (Because my mom's bank wouldn't due to lack of proper ID). I would like to find them and kick their a. s. s. but felt I would just end up getting myself in trouble. So, I just told her I was happy she wasn't hurt and mark it down to a lesson well learned. These are true dirt bags though. Sure hope it comes around to haunt them.

I and several of my neighbors had very good work completed by Old Glory. I recommended them to a friend who also was very happy with their work. The roof they put on the Chiropractor's office on L.W.E.beside the DunkinDonuts/BaskinRobbins is very nice.

I'm 25 and I remember my parents talking about this kind of scam when I was a kid. How foolish are some people to fall for it? These shisters always seem to have a "load of fresh asphalt" that would fit the job of your driveway...come on. They step on your property, introduce them to your tenants...Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson

So these guys are breaking the law by scamming people but why is it ok for the Chambersburg Urologists, the breast cancer surgions and most all of the rest of the certified sergions around here to lie and scam people into having unnessessary surgeries for big money that ruin peoples lives when theres alternative treatments that they wouldn't make any money on.
