I always make lemon pound cake or sour cream, but lemon is the best. The top of it is crunchy and every one likes that part ~ with coffee of course. Don't forget of always serve your man, because laziness will get you no where and he'll always have that on his mind, of how much you did to cater to him. It always helps when you put a lot of love in to your cooking. Just when you think you've put enough love in to it, add more. It will pay off in the after hour time during dark thirty.

Always go to bed first. And when you do, don't wear anything. When your man climbs in bed, he'll notice that you are in the rare. Don't get offended if he doesn't respond to you right away. Remember, you just filled him up with good loving food and he needs to rest a couple of hours. By 2am, he'll be waking up for a little snack. Believe me, a "real man" would know how to handle a woman at that hour and make her want more and more from him.

From reading your posts Amanda, you either want to be your mans mommy or slave. No real man wants that!!

No no no, never make your man Macaroni and Cheese on the stove. Who wants to come home and see a pot full of orange mush. Baking it in the oven is the only way to go.

This is a wonderful idea but very unrealistic. Amanda is either single or unemployed..maybe both..or maybe a MAN. I love my husband and I feel that he does deserve the best but theres no way I could make any of this happen. With Working 50+ hours a week, doing laundry, and keeping a clean home its a struggle to get a healthy meal on the table let alone homemade desserts and home made mac and cheese. In conclusion, I;m not doing most of these things buts hes stll here so I must be doin something right. :)

.. My man loves me for being his wife, not his cook and waitress. It sounds like something out of a fifty's 'good housekeeping' book. Some of us work different shifts than our husbands, and dont have time to make him ice cream, serve his food, blah blah blah. It would be nice to, but he's perfectly capable of serving his own dinner.

It definitely sounds like a man's very outdated approach to how a wife should be. It's just no realistic. It didn't work in the 40's and 50's.. all the women were so miserable for being taken for granted, they were all doped on valium. This isn't an episode of the Andy Griffith... I love my husband dearly and try my best to pamper him when he's worked hard. He does the same for me.. but seriously? At two am, after spending all day making him this home cooked food, SERVING it to him, cleaning the table, kitchen and doing the dishes, I'm probably going to be asleep. I'm not waiting till two in the morning for some hanky panky. A woman's place is not to be subservient to her husband. A good marriage is based on realistic standards, love, honesty, trust. The way to a man's heart is the same way he got into yours.. not through ice cream and cornbread. If a man doesn't love you, martha white isn't going to make him.

....... how do I know about the 40's and 50's? Idk, because I went to high school? Because I went to college? If you've ever sat through a history class, or hell, even watched TV you'd know about the 40's and 50's. It's not a big friggin secret.. are you being serious? Are you people SO uneducated, closed in and sheltered that you don't even know about your own country's history? That's like someone saying, "Oh, you know what the Eiffel Tower is, how do YOU know? you us be FROM france!"

Piggy blaster was right, you people are just lost, lost losers. I'm so disgusted by topix... You can't just discuss issues, it's nothing but a bunch of idiots insulting each other and letting their wee litle brains spark out. I'm done. I have better things to do with my life. It's like a never ending argument in the elementary cafeteria. You people need to go back to high school and get your education refreshed.
