Had company from out of town this week-end and they thought it was wonderful how so many people were looking for the lost dog "Wally". I didnt explain it wasnt worth it. If you want to know the truth get your heads out of the sand and check the police book of records then make an educated decision about your Wally. You cant keep a job just because you are one of the "Good Ole Boys"
Crime just doesnt care who you are or how long you been around-You must do the job and do it well or you are no good to this city!!!

Reichle or "Wally" as he is known on town signs DESERVED TO BE FIRED!

THAT is the REASON WHY he was FIRED!

It is 100% PATHETIC the way that Reichle and his family members would use the excuse of "being on the police for 23 years" as an excuse for Reichle not doing anything wrong.

Saying that a man or woman cannot do something wrong, just because he or she has not been caught doing anything wrong in the past is ABSURD!

For example, a friend of mine didn't get his first speeding ticket until he was in his 40's. He had been driving for over 25 years. According to the defenders of Reichle, this would be a valid excuse for not paying that speeding ticket! After all, if you didn't speed during the first 25 years of driving, why would you suddenly "start" speeding.

See my point!

Obviously you do!

And now it is 100% clear that it is NONSENSE the way that Wally Reichle and his small group of biased defenders (inbred Marine City trash) would try and say that just because Reichle had not yet been caught doing anything wrong that he never would be caught doing anything wrong.

My friends and I are GLAD that Reichle is fired! He deserved to be fired, and got what he deserved!
Keep Cop Fired

Wally better stay fired!

I can GUARANTEE that a LOT more signs will go up saying "Keep MC Cop FIRED" at town meetings if there is even one hint that the guy will be rehired.

Thankfully, everyone with a well-educated brain knows Wally messed up and did things that he shouldn't have. That is what got him fired, and rightfully so.

People need to realize that there is NEVER a time when a cop should let a drunk driver off the hook. And there is NEVER a time when a cop should show favoritism to one citizen over another.

When you violate the rules, you will be FIRED!

If people like Reichle are not fired, it means organizations such as Mothers Against Drunk Driving are doing all their work for nothing.

Processes and rules exist for a reason. This MC Cop obviously violated those rules.

I agree that the MC Police force did the right thing firing this MC Cop.

I also think it is awful the way the retarded group of idiots who benefited from Reichle being a cop are trying to say that the mayor and city manager should be fired and Reichle should be rehired.

Bottom Line: This is not a soap opera; this is real life!

When you violate the rules, show favoritism, do not follow procedure, etc... you are not doing the job that taxpayers pay you to do. You are not doing the job that authorities expect of you. Wally was fired, and that was a representation of unbiased justice!

Anyone really know the exact reason he was fired. No bullshit or opinions, just the facts of why he was fired.

Sure,

Reichle was fired because he didn't work hard enough at doing his job.

This is the reason why Reichle violated procedure and was fired by an unbiased superior.

Rather than whining about being fired and losing his position, Reichle should simply try and get better and find a new job.

So what you are saying is that he fit the mold of most of the past MC police Officers.

Hey long time Mariner,

The comment made by P Costanzo is a good one that I agree with.

Every time I've gone into Marine City, I've been busted; that's for sure.

If Reichle did fit the mold of most of the past MC police Officers, it sounds like Reichle's negative qualities rubbed off onto those other Officers over the course of time -- probably because Reichle was the one training them.

Hopefully, Reichle's replacement will not violate procedures the way he did and will do a better job of training other officers.

Trust me I am not saying that he was any good, what I am saying is that some of the cops that were before him were useless, but they wern't fired. I personaly saw two of the officers drinking beer on duty and throwing the empties into the dumpster behind Kmart. This was something that was well knowen in Marine City. They were even drunk on duty, but they wern't fired. I feel that the whole department should be closed and the money saved to pay the Sheriff to take over there responsibilities.

"Mariners Against Coaches Kids"

It doesn't matter if other police officers in Marine City did something wrong but were not fired at some point in the past. You should never allow the irresponsible actions of one individual to set a precedent allowing others such as Reichle to get away with irresponsible actions.

The simple fact is that Reichle violated procedure and he was caught. The instant Reichle was caught violating procedure, the focus was targeted on Reichle and only Reichle. This is the correct method of handling this situation.

Reichle got what he deserved. I agree with Costanzo that Reichle needs to stop whining and stop complaining. I agree that Reichle needs to start working hard to try and get better at finding a new job.

I have known all the Marine City Police Officers in the past and I can assure you there was no drinking on the job nor was anyone ever drunk on the job. Give us some names or shut your big fat pie-hole.

Longer time Mariner,

You asked for some specific names. I won't go that far the way some people do, because I don't need to in order to prove my point. But the MC football coaches irresponsible kid has been caught by police two times for doing things associated with drugs and alcohol. And let's just say that cops who have a last name starting in the lower half of the alphabet were caught on film letting a drunk kid go free.

Everyone in town knows that happened. It's annoying and pathetic the way Reichle's family tries asking for signatures of people in grocery stores, but are turned down every time I see it. People don't want someone like Reichle as an employee, because he is too filled with bias.

Letting the son of an MC coach off the hook is inexcusable. Nobody else would have been let off the hook like that. The only reason the cop did that is because the MC coaches are so biased that the cop knew it really would have earned a member of his family a starting position on the team at some point in the future.

The MC coach has already said he's going to make his son a captain next year, even though his kid displayed such poor leadership off the field. This certainly proves the points people have been making against the cop and the coaches.
