Well I think it is a no brainer. If you don't want to get arrested for drugs, don't do them. They have always been against the law and still are. Don't blame the cops.

The sports teams at Marine City High School is absolutely awful when it comes to drugs and alcohol, especially the athletes on the football team.

The leadership provided by the coaches and other teachers is absolutely nonexistent.

The reason for this is probably because the coaches have kids on the team and they don't want their kids "to miss out in life."

The athletes on the football team pretty much go by the following rules:

* Drink beer and other alcohol at every opportunity possible

* Marijuna is not a drug that "hurts" you since it is prescibed by doctors; therefore it is alright to use marijuana at every opportunity possible

* Cocaine and Heroine are alright to do "once in a while"

* Use a condom for intercourse in order to prevent pregnancy

* Don't use protection for oral sex and anal sex, since teenagers don't have STDs yet

* Stealing in order to acquire money for drugs is alright as long as you don't get caught

I've talked with several people about these subjects and everyone agrees that the town of Marine City really has gone to hell because of a lack of leadership when students need to be learning those types of morals at a young age while they are still in school.

My son went to a party on Marine City Hwy -- about four houses east of the Cheese House on the south side of Marine City Hwy near Indian Trail road. You know the place I'm talkin' about -- the house that looks like a junkyard with all the blight from the trailers and boats.

All sorts of stolen stuff, ordinance violations, and crimes being committed there. I lost count of the number of broken down boats and broken vehicles in that yard. They thought it was a contest revving engines up really loud. I wouldn't want to be a neighbor. All the noise ordinance violations must be violated every day.

But the township supervisor named Tom Raymond in Cottrellville Township won't do anything about it. He makes up excuses saying they don't have contracts with the Sheriff and says they don't have the money to prosecute anyone. I sure hope one of the surrounding townships or the state police will accept the legal burden and crack down. Marine City sure is an ugly place thanks to that junkyard near Indian Trail in between Marsh road.

MC football player,

You're the one who has no clue what you are talking about. Take a look at Avery Scarcelli's list of friends on facebook and you'll see that she is even friends with some of the drug dealers described on this page. Here's a hint, Irish with a narcissistic tatoo of his last name on his arm. The guy is on probation right now for disorderly disturbance of the peace.

Nobody is bashing anyone here. We just tell things the way they are. The MC coaches right now refuse to acknowledge or admit that their kids have problems. For heaven's sake, Tony Scarcelli has a son named Anthony who has been in trouble with the law for committing crimes! All you need to do is look at the police report to see what happened!

But rather than admit what happened, coach Scarcelli took two other MC football players to an attorney that he paid for, and he took those players without their parents or guardians permission. That was way out of line and the only reason coach Scarcelli did so is because he wanted to protect his son Anthony. Even coach Glodich agreed coach Scarcelli did the wrong thing.

You're the one who needs to get a life if you refuse to admit those facts.

There's already a crew of people seeking to sponsor any candidate willing to run against Cottrellville Supervisor Thomas Hazen Raymond in the next election.

The sponsors said they don't care if the candidate is Democrat, Independent, or Republican.

If you're interested, just write to [email protected] com

The way the email is supposed to appear is:

[email protected] com

There's also a facebook page the sponsors recently started. Just type "Cottrellville Township" into facebook and you will see a page named Cottrellville Township that includes information.

As long as a township outside Marine City lets people get away with no law enforcement whatsoever, it means the kids at Marine City schools will suffer since they are the ones who attend Marine City High School.

Thomas Hazen Raymond had his four-year chance as Supervisor of Cottrellville Township. Raymond proved he didn't have the management skills or negotiation skills needed to sign a law enforcement contract with local authorities. Four years is enough. We need to get someone new into office!

If we don't, the kids at Marine City High School and other surrounding townships will continue to suffer.

No Law, No Order!

Cottrellville Township Supervisor Thomas Hazen Raymond has once again shown an example of his irresponsibility. Mr. Raymond had four years during his tenure as Supervisor of Cottrellville Township. Four years after being elected, history has now made it clear to us that Mr. Raymond does not possess the managerial skills or negotiation skills needed to sign a law-enforcement contract with local authorities such as a Sheriff's Department.

This is the reason why no form of law enforcement exists in Cottrellville Township. It is a very simple concept: No Law, No Order!

Mr. Thomas Hazen Raymond simply doesn't care about the residents of Cottrellville Township. Mr. Raymond would rather make sure that his valuable property on the river sees the lowest taxes possible. This is the reason why Mr. Raymond refuses to try and generate any new form of revenue to pay for a law-enforcement contract. As a result of Mr. Raymond's selfish irresponsibility, the residents of Cottrellville Township suffer with Noise Nuisance, Blight, Court Costs, and the Assault and Battery consequences that occur as a result of arguments taking place.

Residents of Cottrellville Township need to replace Tom Raymond at the next election. Vote NO against Tom Raymond.

If you are interested in running for Supervisor of Cottrellville Township or another position on the Board, please write to me at [email protected] com where I can tell you about how to receive a sponsor. The one and only requirement to run for a position like this is that you are a resident of Cottrellville Township. If you are reading this, you are invited to move to Cottrellville Township for the election in 2012.

Winning this election should be relatively easy. Mr. Tom Raymond barely won the previous election and he has already been recalled once. A couple of the current board members are replacements due to the fact that the board members voted in with Raymond were voted out during the recall. Also, the people who voted for Tom Raymond in the previous election do not want him in office again because they now realize the reasons why the people of Marine City got rid of Tom Raymond when he worked there! This is particularly true for the people who got their wish for city water but have now already been exposed to the rising water bills that Raymond promised would not happen.

I never knew that parents are not the ones who raise kids, but that the coaches that spend little time with them a year are the ones. I know that I played sports at mc and my coaches did not tell me it was ok to take drugs, and if they did I wouldn't have because I had parents that had been teaching me right from wrong since I was born.
How about you focus on what your doing as a parent. After all you with your child more than anyone elese.
