BREAKING: CPUC approves proposed desal plant

No wounder this state is broke. The peninsula needs an alternative water supply rather than relying on the Carmel river. After much bickering around the proposal goes before the public utilities commission and get the approval to proceed. But wait, now it has to go before the coastal commission for further review and after their blessing, who knows what other commission will get their fingers in the pie further putting completion down the road. You know the longer it takes to start this project, our wallets will get lighter. What is our elected representative doing to push this project. From the fact they have not got their heads out of the sand I can only precieve, nothing. Remember, these are the ones some voted into office.
