Ditto. My family lost my nephew on 06/09/2010 in Helmand province, Afghanistan. It's absolutely heartbreaking. I wish peace and comfort to Conrado's family and friends. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Interesting how French and UK Muslim trolls have found their way into this comments section.

After all, their countries gave us the current mess in the Middle East with the The Treaty of Rawalpindi and the Sykes–Picot Agreement partitioning the Ottoman Empire to satisfy their lust for power and world domination.

PFC Conrado Javier gave his life protecting his friends and his Country from murderous cowards who hide behind women and children.

Before the ticks and lice of the world try to use him to score pathetic political points I want the family to know that they are in our prayers and we feel we also lost a member of our family too.

My prayers go out to Javier's family. My nephew considered him one of his best "buds", and continues to serve in Javier's platoon. Pray for all the young men and women that endure losses of friends while serving.

I knew Conrado personally as I worked with his sister in the past. Conrado was a brave young man. In highschool he was in ROTC and a career in the military was his goal. He was quiet and reserved but always had a smile on his face. He was genuine and kind hearted.

I am completely saddened by his loss and Cecilia, if you are reading this please let joe know where and when services are going to be held. Conrado, you will be missed. RIP my young friend, I will be there to honor you at your funeral. My heart goes out to the Javier Diaz family. Gone too soon...

All who post adverse comments to Conrado Javier's status as KIA in Afghanistan do so because of the freedom of speech Americans have fought for, or else they reside outside of this great nation & do not respect it.
The proud & willing need the contrast of the unloyal & cowards so that people can decide their place in this nation & history.
Thank you Mike in SF, CA. & Retired US Army Lieutenant.
Conrado, go rest high on that mountain your duty here is done, those that remain will carry on until it is won, signed a Proud US Army Veteran and American.

Obviously you are angry, but what really stinks is ignorance, what gave you the right to be rude and disrepectful to someone who has gave you freedom to be able to respond to the post. God is a forgiving God and all thru the bible are many wars. I am a proud Mother of my American soldier.I have raised a fine young man, its sad your mother hasnt done the same. Keep your opinions to yourself , WHERE YOU COME FROM. God Bless you

How incredibly tacky of you to post the difficulties of the parents of this soldier at their time of dispair. Do you know for a fact that the mother is ill? How disrespectful of you!

To those of you that judged this post funny and with the red X shame on you all.
It is because of retired military men and woman that you get to sit at your computer and make snide remarks.
Thank you for your service Proud US Army Veteran. I am not an American, but I am proud that Conrado Javier was a fine young American HERO.
God bless and peace to his friends and family!

The insensitive moron who thought this comment was funny and judged it should be aware that karma has a great way of sneaking up on you. When tragedy strikes your own family, I hope the general public is not as mean spirited towards your loss as you have been to this family!
To the niece or nephew that posted this comment, I am very, very, sorry for your loss and I am sure your uncle was a fine and honorable young man. To the moron who judged it, get a life!
