Marietta Cemetery called...
Where is the respect for our fallen veterans and deceased loved ones? I recently laid my mother to rest at the Marietta Cemetery.

I would like to comment on the article, "Marietta Cemetery an eyesoar" The article was written by Troy R McClain from Mount Joy. Mr McClain explains how he has kept up the grounds there of his own doing. He reminded us of how many veterans are burried there. My Great Great Grandfather Oliver McFadden is burried there and was the last union survivor of the Gettysburg Battle from Marietta Pa. I recently visted there and thought it looked much better then I ever remember. When I was a young boy around the time of the agnes flood my dad took me there to visit his side of the family and he was upset how poor the grounds looked. I just want to say thank you for your effort and your hard work. It's appreciated Mr. McClain.
