After all, worshiping God is supposed to be all about ME and what makes ME comfortable, right? Kind of flies in the face of the Biblical view, but hey, why let that affect worship?
Try getting rid of the "I" and "Me", and actually focus on the object of worship. What a concept.
Imagine Israel at the base of Sinai saying "We're only going to worship God if we can be comfortable". Or the New Testament early church simply quitting because they were persecuted. Not very comfy then. We've gotten so spoiled that we are now telling God that we'll only come to Him if it feels OK for us? Wow!

Exactly!

How about getting dressed-up? The Israelites had to dress a certain way to separate them from other nations. The way many dress to go to church today is appalling! I guess with this way — staying in their automobiles, they can go in the clothes they wore the night before, not brush your teeth, etc.

Like you said:“it’s all about me, I, etc.”

I have to agree with previous posts, what exactly IS this? Having drive up services so people can have an "unusual worship experience?" "So they don't have to dress up?" I mean, I respect other peoples' religious beliefs, but if you can't even put on some decent clothes and get your lazy rear end out of the car for an hour or 2 for your God, why even bother?

Uh-huh; and why do I have an image in my head of carhops on roller skates going car-to-car with the collection baskets? Unreal...
