So the sheriff's department busted someone selling items that are not illegal and relied on an ancient law that isn't even being reported about? This is some good reporting... Hopefully Marietta officials are doing more to stop the distribution of legal substances.

What a waste of resources. Also nice spelling 10-tv...raids are pulled 'OFF' not 'OF' - this is the kind of type-o that can be caught with careful proofreading.

4G A DAY..HA. THE US MINT WILL SHIP SUSAN ANTHONY DOLLARS FREE TO YOUR HOUSE. I KNOW SOMEONE WHO BUYS $2000 AT A TIME TURNS THEM INTO A BANK AND HIS CREDIT CARD GETS LOADED WITH FREQ. FLYER MILES. NOW THATS LEGAL PROFIT.

Washington County Sheriff Mincks was really on this one. But as for other incidences, like several reported shootings, nothing was done - and all were performed by members of the same family. Everyone in this area have stated this family is very likely being protected by the sheriff's department. One should see how all members of this family constantly travel in and out of Wayne National Forest commencing in spring and ending in late fall. Washington County would definitely be a much better place if these low life's were gone.

"Tampering with drugs" ??? What a crock - it is a legal substance. If people start smoking Draino, they going to ban that product too? And what is missing from the story is the prescription pills charge. If they are going to report he was charged with that, should not they print why?

Sounds to me any first year law student could defend this case.(not that I support someone using the law to do something to be illegal). But right is right. Something not illegal yet and the police raid the establishment using an outdated law that they probably had to go to an 1800 book to find.

You all are ragging on spelling and illegal busts. Do you not care that your child or grandchild could get ahold of this stuff and overdose at little to no cost. I think it is great that they busted this man.

I think it is great that they busted this man. Your kids could probably raid your liquor cabinet and OD too. Your point? I have more faith in my two children than to think they would abuse this stuff. My point is the law is being made up as they go here and that isn't right.
