Yep, and he has made the socialist welfare deadbeats look in the mirror and realize they are at fault rather than the taxpayers who have paid for their lifestyles. As for honorary degrees, he holds honorary doctorates from 14 universities including Harvard and Yale.
I don’t know much about you, other than that you are a loud mouth who should learn how to research his facts before he makes a fool of himself in front of hundreds of people. Cosby wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He worked his behind off to make it onto the stages of comedy clubs across America, at a time when it was a lot more difficult for black comedians to make a hit with primarily white audiences. His hard work led to a starring role in “I spy” a great 1960s television action series that ran for three years on. Cosby won three emmys for his performances in that series, one for each year of its run.
He subsequently starred in the children’s television show,“The Electric Company” for two years and created the educational series,“Fat Albert and The Cosby Kids” which ran for a phenomenal 13 years, from 1972 to 1985.
He created and starred in one of television’s most applauded series,“The Cosby Show” which ran from 1984 to 1992 and was one of only three television shows in history to be number one in the Nielson rating for five consecutive seasons. Along the way, the show won three Golden Globe awards along with 49 other awards. During the show’s run, he produced a spin off series,“A Different World” which was second only to “The Cosby Show” in ratings.
After “The Cosby Show” concluded, he starred in another sitcom,“Cosby” from 1996 to 2000. He also hosted “Kids Say The Darnedest Things” for two years.
Along the way, he was awarded a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame; made 45 recording which won 9 Grammys. He appeared in 23 movies, won the “Man of the Year” award from Harvard University three times; was honored by the Kennedy Center, won the Presidential Medal of Freedom, won the Bob Hope Humanitarian award and the Mark Twain award for American Humor.
The foregoing only provides the highlights of the man’s achievements.
He was beloved by the African American community and was held up as an example of what a motivated black man is capable of accomplishing until he fell out of favor with certain segments for attacking their lack of ambition and self responsibility.
Other than being someone who attempts to minimalize the significant achievements of those who dare to criticize you, what have you achieved?
I couldn't read all that sht. Never said dude didn't make a lot of money, and good for him. Never said that he couldn't afford to buy awards and accolades, I mean, just how much does a star on Hollywood Blvd. cost, anyway, about $2,500? Of course he can afford that kind of stuff. And again, good for him. Not hating, just saying that his comments were one-sided and made with an obvious ignorance, or complete disregard, of the range of issues that confront black American descendants of slaves. He is not the only person with that attitude: I got mine fq ya'll. It was disgusting to read him say things to denigrate this group of people, obviously meant to further ingratiate himself with white people and jew. That is what makes him a sleaze. Ok, a rich sleaze, but a sleaze none the less.

If you think using a profane word which describes a sex act to explicate your sentiments toward another person makes your position in a discussion more believable, my question to you is; did your mama teach you this communication tool to show others your low IQ or did you acquire its usage by yourself? If you think using this word makes you more credible than Dr. Cosby, you are wrong again. I fully ascertain why you couldn't read everything the poster described praising Dr. Cosby, hey it was coherent and had none of that profanity you love. Bless your little heart.

You “couldn’t read all that sht”? Are you saying that you are incapable of reading and comprehending passages that are longer than those found in the city phone directory? Given your earlier comments about Bill Cosby, I suspect that you seldom read anything other than the promotional ads on the back of cereal boxes. You should learn to read longer passages. That would enable you to research subjects prior to creating posts that make you appear uneducated and foolish.
I’m not sure what you’re driving at when you say,“Never said dude didn’t make a lot of money.“ I never said that either. You’re the one who brought up the fact that he was wealthy! I don’t think that the fact that someone is possessed of great wealth has anything to do with their moral compass. That said, I agree that he is wealthy, not because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, but because he decided early in his life that he was not going to adopt a sedentary lifestyle, rather, he was going to get off his backside and work hard to become a success.
You’re also implying that he bought the hundreds of awards and honors to which he lays claim. I’m not sure how you buy emmys, doctorates, grammys, gold records, Nielson ratings, etc., but because I’m sure it’s easier to say than it is to prove, you’ll probably be safe if you stick with that cynical rationalization for the myriad of awards and honors he’s received.
It was you who claimed that your biggest concern about my original post was the fact that I really believed that Bill Cosby was a doctor, ie:
“You know he's not a real "doctor," don't you?”
I simply stated that he did legitimately earn a doctorate and is a “doctor”. I also told you where and when he earned it. I researched my comments, you didn’t. Perhaps if you had “read all that sht” that I posted, along with a plethora of other information that’s freely available to anybody who’s motivated enough to seek it out, your post would not seem a testament to how having no education and a closed mind can make someone appear stupid, petty and uninformed.

Bill Cosby is just as black as any other black American, including you. Given his obviously superior education,(which for some reason you wish to deny him) he no doubt has a far better grasp of the history of black America and the range of issues with which Black Americans are confronted than you could ever hope to have. However, unlike you, he’s telling them what they should do to remedy their problems. He doesn’t believe that the problems of many of the young people in the black community can be ameliorated simply by adopting an unproductive, irresponsible life style which they then justify by pointing a finger at white America because two percent of White Americans were involved in slavery, which ended 150 years ago.
The Germans and Japanese suffered horrible defeats during World War two. Their cities were blasted to dust by allied bombing, leaving hundreds of thousands dead and millions homeless and starving. They lost a staggering number of their finest, most promising young people. When the war ended, rather than sit about and complain about their terrible situation, they rolled up their sleeves, and through hard work and industrious dedication were able to become world economic powers within thirty years of the end of World War two. Slavery ended 75 years before the Second World war even began, yet many, such as yourself, continue to point to it as the reason why so many Black Americans continue to experience poverty, high unemployment levels and low levels of academic achievement.
You share the same history as Bill Cosby. Take a page from his book. Go to school. Get a good education. That will get you a good job. A good job will allow you to earn a lot of money. A lot of money will make you rich… just like Bill Cosby.

Hopefully you were able to “read all this sht.” It’s important that you understand that tearing down the accomplishments of another in order to justify your own lack of accomplishments is simply transparent and shameless behavior with no basis in fact.

You certainly have a penchant for grouping people you hate. First it's white people and now you've added Jews and, of course, anybody with money. Your the poster child for the Obamabots. Oh and by the way. Cosby is completely aware of the " range of issues that confront black American descendants of slaves". He lived it from day one. However, unlike you, he didn't carry on slavery within himself like so many other accomplished Americans who happened to be black. These people don't identify themselves as "black" , only as Americans. You can't seem to get beyond color or religion. You think what you're told to think by hate mongers and race baiters. And, you listen to these "black leaders" because they're black. So who's the ignorant racist here? It's not Cosby!

"I can't even talk the way these people talk," Cosby said. "'Why you ain't where you is, blah, blah.' Everybody knows it's important to speak English except these knuckleheads!"

Your "Hero," Bill Cosby.

Bill Cosby was fortunate to live in a two parent household with resources. His father, William Henry Cosby Sr, was a Navy cook in ww2. His mother was Anna Pearl (maiden name Hite). He had parents and grandparents to correct him on colloquilisms and finance his initial education. Good for him.

"Cosby also said the high school drop-out rate for black students, which he exaggerated to fifty percent, was deplorable. The drop-out rate among African-Americans is actually closer to 13 percent."

"One of the criticisms of Mr. Cosby was that when he threw out statistics in his comments, they had little basis in reality," said Alexis Scott, publisher of the Atlanta Daily World, the country's oldest daily black newspaper.

It is true that Cosby's gay son, Ennis, was murdered in 1997 during a suspected drug deal gone wrong, while naked except for wearing a mink coat. I don't think his murder was ever solved.

Why would you lie about the statitics on the failue of black males to graduate from high school. Do you think we can't do research. Here is the correct statistical information for the blackout rate for black males, 52%. Dr Cosby was being supportive of black males by lowering the actual drop out rate of black males.
http://blackboysreport.org/national-summary/b...

Poverty doesn't dictate your dialect. English spoken by many blacks in 3rd world country is void of illiterate sounding ebonics. The use of ebonics is like an anchor to drowning anyone when applying for a job other than someone wishing to produce rap crap. If you went to public school you had people to correct you on your use of incorrect grammar and ebonics. Many get an education at taxpayer's expense, others ignore it and live a life of poverty. Some of those who ignore it blame others for their choice. Gordon Lighfoot said he could attest his success to the way he practiced until he learned to talk like the man on the 6:00 news. Everyone has that choice, they should never blame others for the choice they made. Why do some people dislike and try to degrade those who teach good morals and support education? Bless your little heart.

I beg your pardon. Those aren't my statistics. They were provided by Alexis Scott, publisher of the Atlanta Daily World. And that stat was from 2004, the time that Cosby made his dispicable, mean and hateful, suck-up, one-sided comments. Additionally, Cosby was not talking only about black males; he was talking about "these people," presumably all poor black people in 2004.

Why would I have to be lying? Even if what I repeated was untrue, why couldn't it just be a simple mis-reading or a mistake, rather than a lie?

Thank you for the link. Thats good information. Looked at it and saved to read later, depressing as it is. Sometimes the truth hurts, and your new, 2011 stats are indeed painful. We appear to only disagree on the point that I feel that these depressing, but nevertheless likely real stats you shared are the result or effect of much more than "these people" simply being stupid or lazy or having an "inability" to accept responsibility.

I simply feel that there are many more factors at play than easy-to-posit lack of personal character or responsibility.

Thank you for the blessing. Believe me, my little heart needs it and I appreciate. Made me smile and feel all warm n fuzzy.

And, of course, bless you too.

Why would you dare presume that this paper, this slave descendant newspaper, the oldest slave descendant newspaper in the country, is "slanted?"
Why in the world would you dare to presume that in hundreds and hundreds of years, the black American slave descendants whom this peper serves would be so stupid, or have such an "inability" to discern character, personal responsibility, and lies and subterfuge as to be prone to such "bias?"

These are dispicable, anti-Black American and racist expressions for which you should be throughly ashamed. I am disappointed and ashamed for and of you for this thoughtless expression.

Why? To sell papers. Most newspapers do it, the NY Times is a great example of a newspaper with a "slant". It is known as a liberal newspaper because it's stories are slanted to sell to the liberals who buy it. Ebony Magazine is another great example of a publication pandering to its audience. There is noting wrong with this, what is wrong is people using these examples as the bastion's of truth. You reading should be more diverse if you want the truth. Bless your little heart.

These old posts take on an entirely new meaning in light of today's current events. All the while Cosby was doing all these things and receiving all of these accolades, he was a sexual predator, child molester and paedophile. Cosby's unwarranted criticism of his fellow black American slave descendants bring to mind another term, "Juedischer Selbsthass," "self-hating jew." There is generally always some kind of mental disease or defect aspect to people who feel this way, we just often don't get to actually see it played out the way Bill Cosby's is now being.

Racists like you have waiting for the day where liars come out of the woodwork en masse to "destroy" Bill Cosby. Well the time is here and isn't just amazing that all these "victims" suddenly feel the need to have cathartic therapy sessions with the liberal media and their lawyers. Racists like you keep racism alive because without it you are nothing but a complete failure to the human race. Racists like you are the one with the mental defect, all while you sit back and drink the kool aid served up by your lord and savior Black President Obama. Destroy Bill Cosby. Burn and loot your communities over the deaths of a couple of thugs. Scream RACIST every time someone doesn't agree with your uneducated and color coded opinion. True victims of sexual harrasment and molestation will suffer because of your hatred of Bill Cosby. True victims of Racism will suffer because of your false ad naseum claims of racism. You are a Racist and YOU are your own worst enemy. Racism is redundant and dead because of the fake cries and over use of your word.

It's disturbing that you characterize these near 20 women, all telling the same story of being drugged and raped by Cosby, as "liars." This is the same type of Neanderthal attitude that kept the numerous victims of this rapist silent for so long, and keeps rape victims from coming forward in so many cases: fear that they will be called liars, not be believed and vilified. Tell me, the former NBC executive who effected rape payoffs, is he lying too? You should be ashamed.

Believe me, me and my fellow Republicans don't drink the kool aid you speak of; and even if we did we certainly wouldn't take any served up by Obama. Not only that, but the Republican party's share of the black American slave descendant vote rose from 2% to a whopping 10%! 10%! And that was just the mids. Should be even higher in 2016. Talk about uneducated.

Burn and loot MY community? Ha! Not at these property values. And the ones you speak of likely could not march this far from their own communities.

The two deaths you refer to were tragic incidents. Both of these men disobeyed police orders. Tragic things happen when people disobey the police. That doesn't make these incidents and the resultant loss of life any less tragic.

Unlike you, Republicans have come to understand that when people like you refer to these Americans as "thugs," you are merely using a new version of the n-word. Despicable all the same.

Curious how you classify the drugging and rape of all these women by Cosby as a racial issue: all of the victims whose identities I am aware of were white women.

Instead of just spewing filth, if you want to offer real support for this rapist paedophile, here is a fair minded point: the woman who has currently filed a lawsuit against Cosby over her long ago drugging and rape actually tried to sell her story to a magazine over ten years ago; and also contacted one of the rapist's attorneys months ago seeking a $100,000 "settlement," some would say extortion, to keep quiet. That blows her case right there.

Take the blinders off. Put down the kool aid. And strive to have a reasoned, informed opinion. After all, that's the purpose of the forum.

As for the paedophile, child molester rapist Bill Cosby, who denigrated his own people in such an unseemly fashion; karma's a bitch.

The Duke Lacrosse Gang Rape .... LIE

Should I go on ?????

People LIE

Women use Sex and Domestic Violence as weapons against men all the time. Those are the #1 FALSE Charges brought against men used to get them in trouble, payback, vengeance, etc....

No Doubt that BILL COSBY is being railroaded because he has spoken the TRUTH about blacks for decades. The timing of all these revelations and admissions is no coincidence considering what upheaval the black community is today.

Blacks are leading the way on this witch hunt, destroying one of the few blacks in entertainment today that is seen in high regard. Blacks are destroying even their own people. Who is next? Condoleeza Rice? Collin Powell? Pick any Black that dares to go against the black agenda and indoctrination.

You are your own worst enemy. Blacks are their own worst enemies. Destroy yourselves, you'll only have yourselves to blame when you do.

Is destroying Bill Cosby worth the price the Black race will pay?
