Obituary - Mary Rose Ditz

Mary Rose Ditz, 92, formerly of Reed Street, Clarion, died Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, in the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Sligo where she had been a resident since February 2007.

Miss Ditz was my favorite and most influential professor while at Edinboro. I went on to teach for 33 years, 20 of which were in special education, her love. I still get a smile remembering her tell stories about Leonard, one of her students.
Miss Ditz was a rare, gentle soul who truly made the world a better place by her presence. Thank you, Miss Ditz.
