Boy, I remember when I was a young adult, goin' up there to spot deer in the fields in and around Charlie's Roost...feedin' Tony the Bear/Maggie 'n Jiggs the deer, over on the other hill. I sure wish we could go back in time, and save what we had, for our kids 'n grandkids.

I to am a weekend warrior from the areas mentioned, now nearly 30 years ago. I did go back a few times since then to the Flying W Ranch for some horseback riding.

I would be interested in lease, renting or buying property, camp or cabin in this area as well. If you find or hear of something your not interested in yourself, lease pass it along.

Rough is my preferrence also. I'm pretty handy, and would rather redo to my spec's, then accept someone elses idea of perfectly primitive... LOL

That bacon is Black Forest Bacon, made at Helmut's, a few miles south of Erie, on Rt 8. First time I had it was also at Whig Hill store. MMMMMMMMMMMMM
