the little hoe's name. found it interesting on the wtvy news report that the judge was heard telling the teacher that the girl may try to contact him and he should tell her he could go back to jail and for her to leave him alone. I hope the parents of the hoe have locked down her and her cell, laptop computer whatever she has got. For the judge to make that statement and too also say don't meet her in the Wal Mart, SHE IS NOT A VICTIM AT ALL.

It's very true that the 32 year old is 100% accountable for his actions and he will have to pay the price. I don't believe the Major was defending the criminal at all. If there had been more than just that one small clip of his statement, you'd probably see that he meant it was sad for McDaniel's parents who are wonderful, caring, Christian people. Don't you dare say political reasons is at play in this. You are completely wrong and showing your ignorance. I personally know this family and they are completely devastated. His mother is one of the finest people you could ever know if you had the privilege. She has devoted her entire life to serving the Lord and children. No politics at play, and I completely agree with the Major - it's a sad tragic situation for BOTH families. Praying for all involved. As for Kyle McDaniel, the judicial system and the Lord will take care of him. I very rarely come on Topix, but I had a feeling some person with sub-par intelligence would start talking ugly about his parents. I am glad I checked. To make sure you understand, "Sad" - They are NOT to blame. They are victims too, so leave them alone!

i agree with you. This is sad situation. As parents all we can do is raise our children the best we can and teach them right from wrong. Unfortunatly once they become adluts there is nothing we can do but pray they do like they should but that doesnt always happen. As grown man and teacher Mr. mcdaniel should have known better than to become involved with a child and deserves any punishment that he gets.

well if the parents hadn't spoiled the crap out of him and allowed him to think with his "what i want, i get" attitude, then maybe this wouldn't have happened.

Wow! You sound like you are just as ignorant as your friend "sad"! His parents had nothing to do with his choices. You must be a special kind of stupid.

R u kidding u r really ganna blame his parents for him messing with a kid. This is his fault. This has got to be the first thing they teach u when u go to college to become a teacher. But I guess u would say its the colleges fault for not telling him that. That is what is wrong with people today no body wants to take the blame for their actions

AGAIN, you have no idea what you are even talking about! The news had it wrong and just assumed he was bailed out! His butt is still sitting in the jailhouse...The reporters didn't hang around long enough to find out he wasn't bailed out! Nobody is saying he doesn't deserved to be punished. He does! But putting his parents in it is wrong.

You are obviously a hate-filled person. This is on one person, the perpetrator! Not his parents, not the school board! Grow a brain already!

If this were your daughter, all you sympathizers would be calling for the nuts, blood, and head of the guy. You can feel sorry for his parents, but don't a damn one of you need to blame the victim or continue your bulls hit "poor, poor Kyle" campaign. He committed "a mistake"? Are you even listening to yourselves? A mistake is when you leave your coupons at home when you go shopping. Kyle's actions weren't "a mistake." Branch wouldn't say this was horrible for both families (just like any of you hypocritical bible thumpers) if this were any other guy without parents who are only locally known because of their slightly recognizable last name.

Nobody has said poor poor Kyle. People are simply asking that his parents not be blamed. Go back and read again!

Exactly! He's grown. He made a poor decision. He will pay the consequences. This was totally not the life his parents would have chosen for him or behavior they'd condone. They're good people and shouldn't be held accountable for his mistakes. The only ones who are to blame are Kyle & the girl. Case closed!

Calling his disgusting choices and actions a "mistake" and having some stupid law official mumble on camera that this is horrible for both families is sympathizing with Kyle. Or the jerk on here who called the victim a "hoe" and wanted her name. Yea. Poor poor Kyle.

The victim should be held accountable?! Are you listening to yourself?!

You can't rape the willing no matter what age. I'm not saying she should necessarily be punished, but it takes two to tango.
