A sad day for the U. S. to destroy citizens' lives as you take away their land, damage communities, destroy the environment and wildlife habitats, display ill will to our longtime neighbor and friend, supposedly all for the purpose of protecting us from other people, from drug cartels, and from terrorists.

But you have not secured our ports, our nuclear power plants, our water supplies, our railroads, while you are proposing a solution using ancient Chinese technology in a modern technological age. My guess is that it will not even be memorable like the Great Wall of China, or perhaps memorable only for its absurdity.

The private contractors will gain and maybe some politians but all we get out of it is a huge and expensive boondoggle.

You are shortsighted. And while individual neighbors to the south are our friends, believe me the politics aren't. You have activist groups that operate in this country and try to influence our elected officials in Washington, you have 'ambassors' from their countries trying to come here to make their demands. Believe me, if things keep going the way they are--your way--you won't HAVE a country. Your land will be in dispute to whoever wants it.

Dinah tard, Im not from there either but I can at least realize that that lower region has never recognized the border for centuries and neither have the wild life that go back and forth. Hmmm I wonder if the mexican animals are going to apply for green cards.

There is no need for a wall down there. tijauna yes elpaso yes and maybe some other cities but not the big bend area

It always starts with xenophobic hysteria. Stop the big bad Mexicans who have the audacity of working the jobs no one wants. Believe me, starvation doesn't even spur americans to do the jobs they take.

What we have to do, with a vengence, is protect the US, not from people with a hard work ethic, but fron people like Dinah! un-American bigots who use the illegal issue as a white hooded cover for their bigotry is the real danger.

Don't "believe" Dinah. Dinah represents the worst of America.

give your huddled masses, "earning" to be free.

OOPS! You proved someone could be dumber! We should put the useless wall around your home. You like the wall, people on both sides of the border don't. Everyone wins!
How high do you want it?
