In looking at the article about the guy on rt20 it got me wondering what happened to the Schirmer case in Georgia.
Was he ever charged with anything for the other drivers death? Did they figure out what made him pass out at the wheel? Was he tested for drugs since it is well known in Marengo he used and continues to use. Agrue that if you wish but I think we all know better.

He plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter. He is on year probation and had to apologize to the guy’s family. I do not think drugs were involved. He fell asleep at the wheel due to fatigue. Not only did he kill the UPS driver, he killed his own 12 year son.

Paul is a good father and husband and Wondering was way out of line dragging his name through the gutter. I'd like to see the skeletons in your closet!!

"Continues to use" Who do you think you are? I have a pretty good idea and you should be ashamed of yourself. Not that it is any of your business but my father, Paul Schirmer, has been clean for YEARS. Being responsible for the death of his only son and another man was heartbreaking for my father and how dare YOU, of all people, judge him. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. Let's drag some skeletons out from your dingy little closet, shall we?

Not that it is any of your business (but you are from Marengo so that makes you a gossip monger) but he was charged with 2 counts of INVOLUNTARY manslaughter. He was tested for drugs and the results came back NEGATIVE. This case is closed and has been for quite some time. Get a life and go back to the bar.

Amen to that Paulsdaughter. I'm ashamed of what some of these townies post, but then again, that's all they are...Townies. Best to you and your father as you piece your lives back together. Pay no attention to these gutless losers who hide behind their monitors and sling mud.
