Aston, PA native and author John Giduck has not been only caught telling lies about his military background but now is linked to a scheme that evidence indicates may have violated the Pennsylvania State Ethics Act.

The evidence is easy to follow. John Giduck who claimed to be an Army Ranger in his speaker bios over the course of several years hired long time friend, Joseph Bail. Joseph Bail is currently the Police Commissioner of Chester PA but, at the time, served as the leader of the Chester PA Police dive team.

Joe Bail performed consulting work for John Giduck's company, Archangel Group, while serving as a sworn law enforcement officer. In lieu of payment, John Giduck offered a $20,000 honorarium in the the form of a donated zodiac boat to Joe Bail's dive team. This "donation" is documented in a Delco Times article dated November 18, 2007.

The problem is that a serving public official in PA can only accept honorariums of less than $500. Everything is documented at the link.
