Dig it: 3 sentences up from the bottom: "She inferred thoughts about the people who used the object." It's only January, but this is definitely a finalist for Sentence of the Year. Also, check out that King Coprolite that the bald dude is holding. Shouldn't he be wearing gloves? You can just hear him saying,"Well darn my socks but this is a triumph of their high-fiber diet!"

I'm all for giving history a voice, but does it have to be a Sarah Palin voice?
She inferred thoughts about the people? That's not even correct English usage. You can't infer thoughts. You might 'imply' thoughts, but inferences are the results of implications.
Darn my socks this is poorly written article.
