Nice to see Sonic coming to town. Good company, good product and new jobs.
The TRIFECTA of business. |

I may go down to take a few pictures of the abandoned car lot and showroom just for posterity. too many times, we forget what was there or what a space used to look like before something new moved in. I remember many years ago when that car show room was a mancinis.

Likewise with that DUMP that was Sweatheart Plastics. IT's huge, oudated and butt ugly. |

sweetheart plastics houses a bunch of companies.including debs dance studio. At least its serving some sort of business purpose..Diamond Crystal looks like something from love canal. |

Sonic serves lukewarm crap. I went to the one in Peabody to see what all the fuss was about. Couldn't even finish the meal and not cheap either.

This will turn into nothing but a new hange out where people will get shot and mugged.

Geesh...within a radius of about 7 miles I have a choice of 6 Sonics. I can't remember ever reading abouta traffic snarl nor a shooting/mugging/carjacking... guess our thugs appreciate their "fun-like" commercials or perhaps an occassional BLT alternative to a burger or a place for a Sista to get a start-out job whereby she could meet an Hombre to marry. To solve the "traffic" problem, Y'all need to think outside the bun and push for another one to open at the same time to spread the "misery" around. Man, donut Y'all will do if yuz evah rate to get a Krispy Kreme!!! but I guess the doughnut lobby in New England (except for Rogue CT)won't evah let Y'all see that happen!
Bon Appetit ! |

Tried the one in Peabody. Nothing special.

I agree. But neither are Mick Ds, KFC, Arby's, etc. LOL. Just an interesting (for the price) alternative for folks to enjoy or work or for kids to meet up. Provides a remembrance of a by-gone time for some of us. Perhaps better than a place being just a run down eye-sore. BUT...if YOU want...if you REALLY want something Special in the "fast" food genre (and to get out of your hum-drum job)...and an alternative to Pizza (even if it is T & A's)you get yourself...or a couple of Buds together...to buy into this franchise.... Schlotzsky's!!! http://www.schlotzskys.com/cms/about Ya, you get the same ingredients in a deli or e.g. Subway sand, but its the freekin bread that'll get you your 'bread'(if ya know what I mean), Bro!!!(Blush, eh...don't have to Thank me...just send me my 10% Finder's Fee!!! Feliz Navidad. |
