He made a mistake, he did something stupid to try to feed his family. EVERYONE makes mistakes and does stupid things, the difference is YOU haven't been caught yet, and he was honest enough to tell the truth. That takes REAL balls. If anyone on here is perfect let him speak up to be the first person to judge!

A mistake?? Stealing my husband's and son's calves was a mistake?? I would say that is putting it mildly! Feed his family? Did he ever consider getting a job like normal law abiding citizens do? How does buying an engagement ring for his girlfriend feed his family? I hope she thinks of her thieving husband and how that ring got on her finger every time she looks at that ring. Marry a thief? There you go, that's a good foundation to start a marriage. She doesn't seem to be making very smart choices either.

The ring was bought before that happened and the article also contains many other errors so don't believe everything you read

Oh let me make myself clear, my information didn't come from the paper. Besides it wouldn't matter much what he did with it, what does matter is that he is thief by his own admission.

Correction: He is still a thief by his his own admission. Additionally if it was such a mistake, I don't see him or the other two trying to hard to return our cattle.

I realize that I am no one's judge, but I cannot believe anyone would honestly feel the way you do. There is no way to justify that man's actions. I have made my fair share of mistakes and will probably make more in my lifetime, but to categorize cattle rustling as a mistake is just mind boggling. He intentionally stole those cattle...that does not fall in the category of a ''mistake''.

Make no mistake about it I'll be the judge, jury and the prosecution... He is going to get it in the a** in prison I can guarantee that.

Truth feels the way he does because he knows him better than anyone on here. He grew up with him and has been close to him for over 27 years. He knows how he really is and is being a great friend to him and is also a TRUE Christian because he is forgiving him for his mistake. Which I think the rest of you on here should take a lesson on. Just saying.

Oh,ok. He served in the army. That makes it ok.
Maybe Olga should leave the truck unlocked in case he needs anything else.

No one ever said it made anything he did ok, just that he deserves more respect than what anyone on here is giving him. He messed up and deserves his punishment he gets from the judicial system but I'm fairly positive if given a chance, he will make what he done right by either paying the family back or finding as many of the cattle as he can. Unfortunately I'm pretty sure he hasn't been given the chance to do that from the family or the prosecution. Which like I said, I'm pretty sure he would gladly do. As for free speech, you seem like a lot of talk. Again though like I said in my other posts, everyone who has posted anything bad about him on here and finds themselves in church at any time, is a hypocrite for judging him.

Now I understand. If I'm ever a victim of a cattle thief and say anything negative about the perpetrator, I should stay out of church. Don't wanna burn in hell. Thank you for clearing that up.

People work hard for what they own. It may not be much to someone else but the owner has a certain pride about his personal material items he's aquired through hard work and dedication. Of course they are going to be upset. The guy accuses admitted to a crime. He violated trust in the process. Why do we as owners need to give sympathy to the accused? The owners are the ones that have lost things THEY worked hard to aquire. Where is the sympathy for them?? The accused, all of them, should just own up to their mistakes and realize its a given that THEY themselves have created this mess and own up to it.

We knew who was involved long before the police got them. That being said, had he even offered to repay the owners for the cattle? I'd think not cause he is a punk b*tch thief!! You need to be careful who you call out because I guarantee you can't back up your mouth.

What a idiot, the Christian way is to forgive but human nature is not to forget! The three dumbasses that stole, don't work to hard for a living or they wouldn't be stealing. One is a worthless snitch, the other is a worthless wanna be gangster that isn't ready for the real world, and the other is a worthless coward that can't face what he has done, so he's staying on the run like a worthless piece that he his!

It is sad when these boys parents and friends are saying,"be good Christians and forgive them for steeling they didn't know what they did."
If they are so religious then why did they steel the cattle?
Oh and walk a mile in there shoes? Sis I've walked several hundred miles in combat boots and I never once wanted to steel something to get ahead in life.
We do not tolerate cattle thieves or any trash as such in these parts. So if you want to come up here then you better be rolling deep you wannabes cause you will be going home via the hospital.
