Can anyone tell me of any weird happenings, haunted locations, or other local legends of Marble Hill. Surely there is something spooky or unusual of note, the town has a rather long history. Can anyone tell me more about the story of the haunted train tracks?
If possible please give the locations of these things, I'm trying to compile a map of all the hauntings and legends of Marble Hill.

If you drive through at night, shine your lights across the tombstones and you will see 2 eyes glowing blue. This is the ghost of the Blue Baby, a stillborn infant from the 20's.

Does anyone know the story of the family buried at Plainview Cemetary? I think their family name is Davenport. They all died the same day back in the 40' s or so.

The Devenport family is buried in Plainview Cemetary,
I think he killed all but one child with a hammer, he
or she escaped to a neighbors house. He shot his self
afterwards, you can read about it in the banner press
on line. I think it is under past events or something.

Clara Peters murder: Clara Peters was a elderly old maid teacher who live up 51 N. Ed Genegar lived in a little house behind my house. Ed started beating her at her house on the hill and drug her by her long hair down the hill leaving bobbie pins as they went. He finished her off at his house. Her House was supposed to be haunted . When we built here everyone told us it was haunted. and every midnight you could hear her scream for help. which is not true. When we bought the ginigar place its walls and ceiling had all been torn out where people had been looking for the money he supposedly had stollen from her and then he hid it supposedly.
As a child I lived on the other side of the road, and one day their was some shooting over there and dad went to check it out and Ed Ginigar (now out of Prison) and about 4 other guys were target practicing. But Ed went by another name then. So Dad went and got a cousin who had also known him and they went to talk to him and the cousin said it was definitly Ed Gineger. They were there over night and left the next day. We later tore the old house down because our grandkids were afraid of it.
