We don't need no 6 million dollar library to pay for. They are trying to force this on us taxpayers. Vote no on this stupid proposal. They r taking our guns and making us buy health insurance. Now they want us to pay for a library for the deadbeats can go get on the Internet for free while us working people are at work tring to pay for all that crap. Stop this abuse now. Where's the tea party when you need em?

Lol. A library does kinda sound like a waste of money for you all. I read your posts, i see what the people from Bollinger county are like. Unless its a Jerry springer library with tv and not books, I doubt it would get used. Who's sleeping with who, who's better than who, who's doing drugs, its all you folks care about. Things that are normally none of your business are the most important things to you.

Being taxed to build the thing is a major issue. They already boughtthe land and now have no money.

There are enough abandoned buildings or empty buildings why not save the money and buy a place already built... That would increase the look of town and save money!

Why should a farmer or business owner in the rural parts of the county have to pay for something like this. Our taxes are getting out of reason now. Let alone adding another one. It's funny how bollinger county is 90 percent republican yet these silly taxes keep passing. If marble hill wants a library, let marble hill pay for the dad gum thing. Six million dollars is a lot to take out of our pockets. And just who decided we need this dadgum thing in the first place? Wouldn't happen to be the woman employed by the library would it?

I think it will be voted in April along with school elections. They are determined to get it if the people want to pay for it or not. They anticipate a small vote in April

I really don't care what people do in the library. Read, visit, Internet, breed in the restroom, whatever. But do it at your own cost. If the library doesn't pay it's own way, do away with it. Quit voting in taxes to support the deadbeats. This thing is right up obamas alley. Tax the man trying to earn a living so a lazy rascal can take it easy!!!!!!! STOP TAXING Remember, enough ticks will eventually kill the dog.

Why would Marble Hill think we need a bigger library? The one we have is just fine for a town as small as Marble Hill. Where does anyone get off thinking that everyone, Republican or Democrat, can afford to pay more taxes for something we don't need and most people could care less about. Whose brilliant idea was it anyway.''hey lets build a new library for a town that is dying and where people have to leave to make a living to survive''? Come on people it's downright stupid with our economy being what it is. Can't you think of someplace else where that money would actually help people around here that can't find a job? Better yet give it to city hall so they'll quit breaking people with those ridiculous water bills.

$6,000,000.00 - Cost of Library (current proposal)

12,363 - Population of Bollinger County (2010 census)

$485.00 - approximate cost to Bollinger County residents per person (including adults and children)

2.6 - Average household size

$1,262 - Average cost to each household

Are you ready to pay for it?

I might be willing to pay more for a new jail if the judges would fill it up with the druggies instead of leaving them on probation for years.

Obviously, you do need a library because you need to learn. Hint: Double Negative. Oh that's right you probably went to Woodland and was one of those dope heads and did not get what us "NERDS" call an education. So I beleive it will do the town some good

You can build a library
You might be able to force me to help pay for it
But you will never see me in it

The one we have is plenty big/good enough. Glad we're moving away in a couple years where we don't have to pay much on that tax.

Maybe we should have voted Lloyd in. He's got so much money he wouldn't need to swindle Marble Hill residents out of every dime they have. Give it some thought.
