That's funny.

But, for senior citizens..."Happy Coke" is probably cheaper than
Actonel, Coumadin, Rogaine, Previid, Fosamax, Plavix, Digoxin, Lasix, Aricept, Tenormin, Lipitor, Namenda, Cozaar, Heparin and the thousands of legal drugs they can not afford...thanks to the new world order.

Enjoy the day.

This case is going to be thrown out if she gets a good attorney. First, the officer on scene should've checked the purse before she got transported. Second, the nurse has no business going through her purse-she's not the cops and she has no probable cause to. Third, if she found something that looks like suspicion of drugs~she should've brought it to the attention of the doctor not he cops. Again, bottom line~she screwed up this case by going into a purse without P/C and the cops screwed it up by transporting someone without checking the purse. For all we know she could've had a gun in that purse...

I would like to follow this case through the end and see how it turns out.

Made it all the way to the hospital AFTER being chased (already in custody) and it was the nurse that checked the purse????? Great job deputies.... pat yourselves on the back and thank God she did not have anything else in that purse! Wondering at what point the pat search was done??

what about doctor (nurse) medical privlage? If I were her I would sue the hospital. She broke the law but so did the hospital. What is good for the goose is good for the gander.
Please point out exactly which law the nurse broke. Doctor-patient confidentiality isn't absolute. If a patient confesses to a doctor that he murdered someone, he sure as hell has the right and responsibility to contact authorities.

I would hope that Garcia is also charged with driving the wrong way. That is the basis for reasonable suspicion and the felony traffic stop. Without that charge, the other charges could be thrown out of court. There should be blood drawn as well for analysis of DUI which is determined through toxicology testing.
