Drug smugglers opened fire on U.S. Border Patrol agents late Friday evening east of Sasabe in what highlighted a busy weekend along Arizona's stretch of U.S.-Mexican border.

Seriously though, these aren't just drug smugglers, these are citizens of another country firing on American law enforcement officers during the commission of a felony.

If an American drug smuggler fired on the law enforcement officers of any other country, it would be an international incident.
