Sonoita's Steak Out opens Marana restaurant

Sonoitaa TMs popular Steak Out restaurant opened its Marana sister restaurant on Tuesday, just in time to iron out some kinks before next weeka TMs Accenture Match Play golf tournament gets under way.

Yesterday I heard your ad about the new Steak Out in Marana. The ad mentioned the early bird special prices from 4 to 6 - and said just that. When I got home I called the restaurant in Marana and asked specifically about that early bird. I was told the items on the menu, the prices, and that it was only from 4-6. I then asked to make a reservation for TODAY at 5:30 so I could take advantage of that great deal. When I arrived today and was seated by the hostess who only gave us the regular menu, I asked for an early bird menu. She informed me that the early bird only applies Mon-Fri and NOT Sat. and Sun. When I told her about my conversation the day before and NOT being told that (nor does your ad say Mon-Fri only) she said I was the second person tonight to say I was given mis-information on the phone on Fri. The manager then came to our table to explain that the computer system would not allow an early bird price on Sat. and he was very sorry. DONE ! Nothing else was done to try to accommodate us. We almost left, but decided to stay to try the more expensive, regular menu steak. But I was very disappointed that I was given mis-information, that your ad is lacking essential information, and nothing was done to make me feel better about this situation.

Get a life and figure it out. The Steak Out at Dove Mountain is easily the NorthWest's best new restaurant....the margarita I had was enough to make all my worries melt away and the RibEye(which was very reasonably priced was enough to keep them away. Koudos to the young owner/manager, Michael who was ever present around the restaurant during my wife and I's delightful experience there. We will be back and soo will all of you!
