As someone who has known Chris for years and has had a child in her care in the past, I just want to say that she was an excellent daycare provider. My daughter loved her, loved going to her home as did all the kids in her care and their families. She was loving, encouraging, creative and would NEVER harm a soul. She would absolutely give the shirt off her back to help someone. Be careful to judge someone by what is written in a news article, as not ALL the facts here are present! This woman CHOSE this profession, not because she had to do it for income. She is educated for it and she loved her job. For all those people who think that doing daycare in their home is a good easy option for income, BE AWARE...all it takes is someone to accuse you of something you didn't do to absolutely ruin you and your family's life.

Seems to me that the state has as much cause to take the child away from its parents as they do to close this woman's business.

I don't care that the parents passed a polygraph. The only thing a polygraph proves is that a person wasn't nervous when taking it. A sociopath will always pass a polygraph test with flying colors and an innocent person can fail a polygraph test simply because they were nervous. There's a reason why polygraph tests aren't admissible in criminal cases.

I live in the neighborhood and have observed kids being dropped off/picked up and I've seen her outdoors doing outdoor activities with the kids. Even though I've never met this woman, it's quite obvious that this was a profession for her. I hope everything works out for her and her family. It has to be devastating to be accused of something you did not do.

Daily Horoscope for December 4

Gemini

You're normally pretty canny, but today you're wearing rose-tinted glasses that prevent you seeing what's really going on. There probably isn't much harm in this if your vision is only temporarily obscured, but you could be heading for financial problems if you persist in taking a very idealistic view of a current situation. Be realistic, especially if someone's health or welfare is involved.
