Fire Chief To Retire

Austin's fire chief says he's stepping down at the end of the year. Dan Wilson tells ABC 6 News that he notified city administration of his plans to retire next month.

This man needed to go years ago. I would never refer to him as a chief. He is a joke in the fire service. It is a shame that the he has taken apart the Austin Fire Department the way he and his accomplices have. The AFD has a long way to go to re-establish itself as a viable and effective fire department. The work that is needed has nothing to do with the Firefighters of Austin. Blame falls sqarely on the shoulders of Dan Wilson. What a Nightmare!!!
