Police......just typical disgusting sub-human beings...if that lady dies, her husband should sue both counties for the ineptness of the police.....

ALL bureaucracies operate on the basis that the "book of regulations" takes precedence over common sense and initiative. It is possible that the police did precisely what they were permitted to do by that "book." Red tape is the bureaucrat's protection from doing something while he locates all the people necessary to sign off on n action. A policeman who took some initiative and began a search activity without proper "authorization" would be subject to disciplinary action, maybe even losing his job but surely his chance for promotion. We should ask, "Who, exactly, issued the order to lay off?"

Be glad you're anonymous on this post, otherwise, should you ever need police assistance, those sub-humans will ignore you and rightfully so!
I do agree that often "regulations" are poorly conceived. There should never be absolute compliance with regs and no latitude for independent actions.
