I think Rosie O'Donnell should come back and have her own show. I stopped watching The View in the summer because all those three women do is try to out talk each other. The show is much better when Barbara is not on. She is great when she is only on once in a while. Rosie will help that show alot and she is the only reason I think that The View might up their ratings.

I tested the show today. I won't watch again. Rosie is as fake as usual and the dumb blonde is a waste of t.v.

Watched Rosie this morning and wit and humor made the show. Welcome Back

Rosie seems to have leveraged her relationship with Martha Stewart, who is also friends with Barbara Walters, to garner a seat at the head of the View's table. Why would the often deft Walters hire the loud, no class, and crass Rosie is beyond me.

Any inellectural draw was lost with the departure of Vieira and Star.

I watched it today and it sucked!! Rosie is just like having a man there, maybe they should have just asked Tom Cruise to be on, Barabara is boring as hell, Elizabeth is a spoil brat, and Joy is all that. She is about the best thing going for the whole show. I haven't watched since Star left. This is chance they will receive any of my time. From here on out it is strictly TARA BANKS!! Good luck on ratings folks!
Nicole I agree Elizabeth must go....Rosie on the other hand is awesome! But Nicole your ok with me! Have a good one.

I stopped watching the View after Meredith Vierra and Star Jones left the show but I wanted to watch Rosie's debut, I thought the show was simply horrific. The View is standing on its last leg. Barbara and Rosie are clashing four minutes into the show. Rosie is too loud and boisterous for the ladies.

I saw the show and it was the Rosie show with three assistants. Did anyone else even have a view today?

I watched "The View" today and it was exactly what I thought it would be, disappointing. Rosie was obnouxious. She spoke over everyone and kept interrupting the other hosts. I think Joy and Elizabeth should start their own show and hire back Star. Barbara should stick to the one on one interviews, she adds nothing to the show.

I couldn't say it any better. I would also like to add, should we be worried she maybe a scientologist?
To take over "the view", like aliens could save that show!!! HA HA

I thought the show was awesome. Now that Rosie is on board, The View is bound to bring home a bunch of Emmy awards just like The Rosie O'Donnell show did. Glad you're back on daytime tv rosie!!!

I thought the show was awful!!! I had vowed to never watch again, but decided to see how bad it was going to be and it lived up to my expectations. When they were giving the tribute to the Crocodile Hunter it was embarrassing. They started out talking about him then somehow got on the new superman movie (while they were showing footage of the now deceased gentleman.) Then Rosie begins to tell what happened when she told her children and was interrupted by Joy and they never got back to their tribute. They talked all over each other, they looked uncomfortable and I felt it. I don't see this show lasting but one season. Just wait until Elizabeth and Rosie begin to clash on issues, since Rosie is so liberal and Elizabeth is so conservative and it is election time. Boy do they need Star and Meredith and Barbara needs to retire.

Please..........Get "the View" off the air. I only watched to see Meredith and cannot stand Elizabeth. She is so conceited. Joy is vulgar and they all talk at the same time.

Rosie was so out of place on that stage! She is so physically bigger than the others! And she just talked over everyone! Those faces she makes are annoying. Trust me, I like Rosie,...by her self!
I think Barbra must have had to pay back the devil for something, because I can't believe she so miscalculated on this replacement! The show is going down the tubes; poor Elizabeth must have chewed off her hair because her nerves were so frazzeled over this change.. The set color was so garish...that bright orange was hard to take in the background. Poor Jessica Simpson's dress was so short that she was flashing white panties to the cameraman!!! Oh....I can't wait for Meredith to start on the Today show! This show is a mess!!!!

Yes!!! You are right on the money. Rosie needs to quiet down and let the other ladies talk. It seemed awkward today. I haven't watched in a long time, so I didn't even know that Starr was gone LOL! By the way, I HATE the new set. Trying to hard. Should have left well-enough alone.
