Old mill town a vestige of the past
“It's definitely not something I expected.”
About 90 people live in Selleck in South King County. As the county's other mill towns disappeared, only Selleck remained to remind people how things used to be. via The Seattle Times

I grew up there in the 1950's to 1962.
Thanks for the memories.
“KEEP RAVENSDALE RURAL”

Many kudos to the many supporters picketing, waving and supporting our Anti-Regional Sports Complex Efforts at Gracie Hanson Center.(Dedicated to the youth of Ravensdale by Gracie Hanson many years ago), which is now being leased by the PONY league baseball organization to support our area cities baseball leagues. We need to have people really understand what is planned for this site by King County and how it will negatively effect their rural way of life. We are not opposed to a park....we are opposed to a Regional Sports Complex. Who will provide for the youth of Ravensdale, as the citizens of Ravensdale are obviously providing for the youth of the Urban Areas!
