Patricia Clark is an idiot. She's an animal lover so she couldn't shoot aggressive dogs?! She let horses be torn to shreds on her property b/c she refused to take action. There is nothing worse than a pacifist who whines AFTER the fact.

People who own dogs and choose not to control them are asking for trouble. It is true that your neighbors can choose to shoot your dog if they are attacking your animals on your property (WHY would you WANT that??!). However, it still comes down to the fact that those dogs are untrained and neglected themselves. It is their owners' fault that the dogs were allowed to hunt the horses, it is not the fault of the dogs themselves. If you have any respect and/or compassion for animals at all, you are the type of person to think twice before condemning a neglected animal to death, because its actions were caused by its neglectful owners. The compassionate person has more advanced intelligence and may understand the psychology of the dog as well as its owners (they are also more advanced than the neanderthal JoAnn that commented earlier about this article). The owners of those dogs should be put in jail and be required to do many community service hours that perhaps benefits neglected animals, they may learn something about how humans should be proper animal stewards.
I feel so sorry for the Pit Bull breed.. people who want to appear tough and go for a big dog that is known for viciousness are morons. Small minded neanderthals are the ones that choose not to train their animals properly and keep them contained when appropriate. I believe Patricia Clark is a brave woman for taking on the unending task of cleaning up irresponsible animal owners' messes. She should be given an award for all that she's done since she opened her rescue. Actions speak louder than words and her actions show nothing but compassion, understanding and patience toward the animals that rely on us to care for them. I only wish there were more people like her in this world. There would be much more peace in the world if people actually thought more about others (people and animals alike) than themselves. GO PATRICIA - Thank You for making such an important difference in this world!
