I can sum up my views in one question: Would you want one of those people living next door? We are talking about sex offenders and violent types,, not just ppl who can't tie their shoes! These persons who are deciding on this don't have to worry about that, they live in nice little gated communities with fenced in yards and neighborhood watch, NOT in the real world. I say if they want them out of those "prisons" sobad, the should just adopt them into their own homes and see how long that lasts.
