Topeka School District Considers Layoffs & School Closures

The Topeka school district is considering layoffs and school closures because of an uncertain state funding.

everytime there is a budget crunch, in this state, the first thing people want to do is attack our future! no wonder people are leaving this stupid state. make the legislators give up their perks, bonuses, and raises. funny that no matter how bad the economy is, they get their raises. also, why don't they raise the price of a liquor license in this state? the price of liquor licenses have not been raised in over 20 years!! there are over 3,000 active licenses in this state! the legislators don't want to raise the prices because many of their cronies are in the business! LEAVE OUR SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS ALONE!!!! also, they could put state workers on a four day week, until they get their act together.
