A great tribute for our veterans. As our Marine brethren always say, "Semper Fi!"; this truly applies here. [Maybe, the Congress and the rest of the states where I-94 traverses can dedicated this Interstate as the Purple Heart Highway. Wouldn't that be a grand tribute to our veterans? Lest we forget who made this country strong.] p.s.; "Semper Fi" is short for 'Semper Fidelis'.[Latin for "Always Faithful'.]

Shouldn't the tribute be for the folks who slaved away to build 1-94?

We should have a freeway named American Hero Trail and one called Cobra Commander Way.

Highway 52 should be called Triage Trail since it seems thousand crash on that road every year. The stretch through Inver Grove can be called the Mortality Mile. But I appreciate the I-94 tribute to the wounded and KIA soldiers.

This is so stupid. Aren't we in a Recession? Don't tell me these signs are free. I just love having my tax dollars wasted (for the signage & the time it took the idiots in the legislature to debate & pass this dumb s**t).

I wonder when we'll have a roadway system named in honor of the Native Americans that the white man forced off the land?

Wouldn't a better tribute be to improve the VA hospitals? Or how about really reaching out a helping hand to the many, many vets out there who are homeless, have chemical dependancy problems, or still have unaddressed mental health issues related to their service? Or how about expecting our armed forces to provide everybody who serves some kind of job training that is applicable in the business world? Wouldn't those be more fitting tributes to the men and women who have risked their lives serving our nation than a strip of asphalt?

Even a died in the wool lib like myself can understand that this is a very meaningful tribute to those that have given their lives and their livelihood to protect the freedoms we enjoy as US citizens. Obviously, you were never a member of the armed forces and then made use of your veteran's benefits to finish your edu-ma-ka-shen. Crawl back in your hole you simpleton.

Spoken like a spoiled kid who has always been told how wonderful and "special" he is. We are not honoring the fact that they are dead. We are honoring their bravery in serving their country to get bozo's like you free.

If folks on here think you are being negative towards the military in any way at all, they will call you for your execution. Nevermind the right to free speech.
