My advice for the eighteen vietnamese is plead not guilty and read Hank Rearden's speech to the court from Atlas Shrugged in your defense. The day has passed when twelve of your peers could be found who would be willing to lock you in a cage for decades because you had the courage to grow, trade, or consume the most useful plant on earth. Hand out Fully Informed Jury Association leaflets at the courthouse on the day of jury selection. Jury nullification is bound to play a central role in ending cannabis prohibition!

Nice to know we have racist motivated drug forces in MN. In the last year of all the busts I've read about its always been the asians or hmong getting the hit. And give me a break, pot?

We had a drug operation on the East Side of St. Paul. It was run by the Pluff family. Former St. Paul Police Chief, Bill Finney hired a member of this family to watch the police impound lot and he hired a known drug runner to work in the police property room. It is also a fact that former chief, Bill Finney covered for lots of drug running friends, often gibing them get out of jail free letters. One major drug runner and former St. Paul cop was arrested at Finney's house. He was caught with 245 pounds of meth.

I hope my government officials botch the investigation, and the 18 that are charged get off. The first thing after the war of independents are president George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and many otheres started to grow hemp for there textials, paper, oil, rope, fabric, and many other things where mad from hemp. all of are four fathers smoked and grew marijuana and hemp this is a fact go to National Center for Cnstitutional Studies. Books to Read, "The Real thomas Jefferson" "The Real George Washington" and "The Real Benjamin Franklin".

Wow, another colossal waste of time and resources.

When will the 'leaders' of this state realize that the quickest way to dry up the black market is to legalize and tax this stuff.

The hamburger-joint guide to Minneapolis and St. Paul story that they are pimping above this story; eating all those high fat, greasy burgers and fries will have a far bigger cost to society than these pot dealers will ever have. All of this obese fast food junkies that we are encouraging to gorge themselves with hamburgers will all have diet related chronic illnesses from their unhealthy eating habits.

the discovery channel had a special on marijuana stating that it is or would be the largest cash crop in america. its just nonsense so much of the police effort and money went into a marijuana bust. really? i would guess that half of the population smokes pot, occasionally or regularly. its been around forever, and rightfully so.

I will say it. The police should be looking for real criminals.

There is no logical reason to for marijuana to remain illegal for personal use. Regulate it, tax it, and apply laws for responsible consumption like those we have for alcohol. Its use does not lead to violent behavior, but its prohibition does. Police forces are overworked, federal resources are dwindling, and prisons are filled with nonviolent potsmokers while violent offenders are routinely released to make room for more nonviolent prisoners. Someone defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. That's the war on drugs in a proverbial nutshell.

How much did the article say all the potential weed was worth? Hm. Wonder what it would be worth were it taxed and applied to the budget deficit instead of sweetie TPaw slashing all the human services?
Damn. Sorry. That makes too much sense. Pot is evil, after all. Make you eat. And fat people are more of a burden on the healthcare system.

but these illegal drug dealers are evading hundreds of millions in taxes not to mention the permit fees, zoning laws operating commercial in a residential zone, failure to obtain insurance, illegal transportation of chemicals, failure to dispose of waste properly , the laws are the laws and they broke many of them to bad the rest of us have to play by the rules. and im sure they broke hundreds of oshas rules with this operationm. were they wearing hard hats ,orange vests, steel toed boots, gloves, did they have a fire extinguisher within 50 feet at all times. did they use proper electrical cords, did they have proper drainage , did they use chemical fertilizers? how was it handeled?/ did they wear respirators while administering chemicals? did they water plants during a watering ban? did they have proper fences ?? where the premises secured properly ?/ im betting no on all these osha infactions charge them millions of dollars in fines and lock them up for breaking all the laws that they did. after all libs love putting laws on everyone else. safety first you know.

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Libra

Remember that life isn't all fun and games: handle your responsibilities first, then plan how to have a good time. Your impulses, once you yield to them, will have a tendency to lead you further and further from where you need to be. Make sure you lock the door behind you before disappearing; when you're in this kind of mischievous mood, you probably won't want anyone else to know where you're going.
