three cheers for the parents. sometimes, we parents leave the teaching of our children up to the schools but that is not always smart. i'm glad the howard's are taking matters into their own hands and fighting for their son's rights. i too had a similar problem when my speech impaired daughter started school, i got involved and the school hated it--they even lied to me but thanks to a caring teacher and my persistance my daughter is successful today. good luck with everything; I'll keep your family in my prayers.
