Middletown is #14. That is a sad statistic....

Several years sago, there was a visionary poster on NJO calling for random drug testing and drug sniffing dogs in our schools Perhaps had he been heeded, our ranking would now be lower.. The fact remains were are 14th and that would suggest that it is indeed time to take these very necessary steps to protect the kids!

Hey Visionary, The only thing that has been around longer than the random drug testing policy in the district is the periodic searches by drug sniffing dogs.
Oh, I forgot. They instituted those programs after you suggested it on a forum.
If I'm not mistaken that was right after the wheel was invented.
After you came up with concept on a forum, of course.

Thank you Mr. Bd of Ed! For recognizing me as a "true visionary"! I was content to remain anonymous. LOL! Do you mind if I call you Mr. Ed for short? Nah , don't answer....I don't care Mr. Ed. "A horse is a horse of course" and you represent it's back end Mr. Ed.,
So tell me why is it the you read all about the Lacey and TR districts in the Press doing their drug sniffing dog thing and not Middletown? In fact, why aren't the results being conveyed to the taxpaying public who are paying for them? One can only conclude that by our ranking, any efforts to date have been less than successful. Can you offer readers here any stats that suggest otherwise? Any proof of their existence for that matter?
Your MO for years now is that you are long on wind and short on substance, and your consistency in that regard shows itself here once again tonight!

Rather odd, no?
One poster here intimates that the use of drug sniffing dogs in Middletown schools has been in place for years. Yet in this recent article there is no mention of any such program. If they are are indeed in use the kids must be aware of it, no? And parents too, via the kids...right? ts no secret then, right. Why doesn't the township take credit for it and make it general knowledge for those who pay for it....the taxpayers?

I'll tell you what.
I'll respond to you when you respond to me.
You respond to my last post in the "what constitutes a snow day" thread and I will educate about the use of dogs in the district.
You want to pick and choose which of the topics that you bring up that you are going to respond to? Wrong.
You started the thread. I gave you a valid response. If you aren't man enough to answer the question that you asked I'm not interested in anything you have to say.

But that is your style isn't straw?
When you think you have a gotcha moment you are all over it. You want to engage me because you think that you have a valid point.
Then when inevitably you turn out to be FOS, as you will in this case, you claim I am obsessed with you and not worth responding to.
That act is getting old.
The fact that you think anyone would fall for it is pathetic.
I say that you are being disrespectful towards our superintendent in the other thread. Either you address that point or all bets are off.

Say can anyone corroborate that drug sniffing dogs have been used in Middletown schools. And when did it start please.
