You must be the asshole that Governor Christie was talking about when he was frustrated over those who would not obey his order to leave. You didn't risk your life..you chose to be an idiot...the lives you risked where those who were supposed to save you.
I noticed too that you want credit for this video...shame on you....how bout just posting it there for people to use to check out homes of their friends and family and those who just want to look. Too bad you didn't rescue our friend Tom from the second floor of his house in Bay Head...he is the other asshole Governor Christie. Your not a hero, your an idiot.

We have visited Bay Head 2X and loved the beautiful beaches and quietness of the town. So sad to see what has happened but I sense there is a perseverence in the people in Bay Head.

Thank you many times over for your efforts. Not knowing anything is much worse than knowing something about the damage. So many memories in and of Bay Head, lovely people. I hope your family continues to be safe - they are so lucky to have you to come to them in what must be very frightening and stressful circumstances. If you know any details of Osborne Ave, please post them. God bless you and your family.
I live on Osborne and have been in and out of BH everyday since the storm. What do you want to know? My name is Sue.

Haven't seen her, but no one was hurt or killed in Bay Head. Most people have left town.

I'm 300 miles away, if I come down there, will I be able to get around, do they have the area cordoned off. My 80 year old mom is still there and wont leave, can I bring her food? If she leaves to get food will they keep her out?
If you tell me who it is you are looking for, I can tell you if I have seen her. You must have ID that you are a BH resident to get into town. The National Guard is on the scene to help us. We have a 'soup kitchen' set up at St. Pauls church on Bridge Ave. and everyone in town is welcome there...food, supplies, heat. Everyone is being taken care of.'Outsiders' may be able to get in next week. As long as you are a BH resident and have your ID, you can come and go as you please, but there is a 6 pm to 7 am curfew. Still no power, but we have gas and water.

My mother, nephew and I went on Saturday to clean out our house. We were amazed at the destruction of Sandy. Bay Head is a disaster zone. Wet possessions, furniture, etc. or drywall is stacked in front of every house. We had two of my son's friend join us from Philadelphia to help, but it was clear we would never get the house and garage cleared out. Then out of the blue seven wonderful volunteers showed up from "The Lodge". They knew exactly what to do and started hauling furniture and appliances to the curb. They were able to calm my mother down and explain what items (almost everything) needed to go. A special shout out to Carly and Kathleen who were so sweet to my Mom! Thank you to all the people who have given up their time to help the residents of Bay Head!
