It would be a plus for anyone to be bilingual in specific languages depending on what country you're in. That also includes immigrants from Mexico, South America, Haiti, etc who expect us to be Bilingual to give them an opportunity to be successful here. Why shouldn't it go both ways? Why wouldn't someone who immigrates to the USA want to learn English, because they can only gain from it with more opportunities to succeed here. Those that learn English, come here on a Citizenship Visa with the intent to become a citizen are more successful than those who come illegally. The illegals are causing their own problems by having to run from the law and steal identities and commit fraud in order to be able to appear to have legal eligibility in the USA. We have these laws for a reason and the Government needs to do this job which is specifically assigned to it by the Constitution of the United States in Article I, Legislative Branch. Why are we not requiring them to uphold the constitution like they under oath pledged to us they would do? Why is it that there are people who claim to support the constitution when only supporting parts of it and dismissing the other parts of it? The Constitution was written for two very basic reasons. One, to give the Federal Government the sole responsibility of Defending all States from a hostile invasion. Folks, Illegal Immigration is a form of hostile invasion. The other reason is to protect the Liberties of the Individuals except for where specifically prescribed in the Constitution. Why are we bickering about things that are so very obvious to us that one way is wrong and the other way is right?

I am Hispanic and was born and raised here in AMERICA, so were my parents and grandparents. I dont think that POOR MEXICO puts out the MONEY to change there freakin labels to add the English on there labels. WHY, That REALLY Pisses people OFF. WHY do they think America OWES them something for coming over here ILLEGAL most of the time. Every where you go now its bilingual is a Plus, and Spanish on our LABELS. And English to spanish translaters for them to understand. If Americans go to mexico, Them WETBACKs get Pissed off and WANT you to speak spanish they dont go find a English speaker just to translate for Your ass. Thats My Opinion. And Pisses Me off everytime, But LOL I'll get over it like the rest of you I guess. LMAO

If they come legally to the USA they can be more successful. If they come legally to the USA, and they demand equal protection under the law, lets give it to them and deport them under the law.

This is America. If you want to live in America then speak ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!! You jumped the fence, you paid the price to get brought into the states. I refuse to speak bilinguel, I refuse to vote on school kids taking English lessons. This is a great country of all kinds, YET, they get their citizenship, and learn the language. What does that say when you are treated like dirt because we are quickly becoming the minority. Look at mainstreet. Only one new coming restaurant that serves American food, finally. Sick of taco's. I think America is suffering a lot from some of Mexico's problems. Why don't we pressure their government to make the situation better over there so the 75% of them that come over here with an honest intention of making their lives better, don't have to. And the 1/4 or so that come over just to exploit our laws don't give the people that come over here legally a bad image.
