The public should hold all power companies more accountable for their spraying programs. They spray everything in their path, without regard for aesthetics. They meet government regulations - barely - and then leave a brown dead trail behind them. So ugly.

I caught one of the utility guys spraying weed killer all over my front yard. He covered every square inch of the lawn killing off my fruit trees and tomato plants too.

Why do they have to kill all the trees and grass on a property?

It was 2 years ago, but still nothing grows on my 3/4 acre property - not even weeds or crabgrass. During the spring it's a muddy mess. During the summer, it's like a desert - throwing up dust.

Should I reported him?

The Vine is OK, the 1/3 that was killed off is growing back fine. Dominion sent out specialists to take care of the vine. Later a letter was sent out to the MotherVinyard residents as an apology.

They need to do better, definitely.

they once mowed down my fence which was covered w/ honeysuckle & blackberries which both kept my dogs in @ provided me privacy from the road. i raised such a stink that they said they would bring out the posts & fencing to replace it. i told them that i shouldn't have to do the work, as it was their fault & they had the augers to sink the poles. they fixed my fence & my dogs luckily didn't get hit as they wandered to the road inthe between time.

The most powerful, astute Attorney I ever knew worked in the Dominion utility easement realm. They will do what they want no matter what. This particular plant just got lucky; if it had been located anywhere else it would be dust by now.

Plus, they were found to be using something not approved for that type of vegetation. Y'all saying you had totally-sprayed yards better stock up on antioxidant vitamins and drink gallons of water! Cuz y'all might have systemic poison out the ying-yang, sorry to say.
