Someone posted on topics before that he was doing this to get free coffee and drinks. So what is the full story.

What in the ____? This is ridiculous! Go after drug pushers and B&Es not ex-officios! Too much time in such a little place!

Law enforcement officers ARE heroes, you ignorant jackass. Those who are convicted of impersonating them (even former cops) are criminals. Holding that job brings with it alot of responsibility. In no way does it mean an officer "can do anything he wants."

Get over yourself and your anti-police bias. Get some therapy for your own good so that chip can get knocked off your shoulder.

Not sure about the impersonating an officer part, but D'ambra suddenly "quit" a while back because it got out he was into kids, including his own daughter. A similar thing happened to the former Southern Shores chief of police who's been in prison a couple years now for sexually abusing his stepdaughter. Dare County has a problem with hiring fucked up cops.

WOW...! You are a very angry person. Law enforcement officers are not heros...they are faggots. Jedele is a hero? A HERO? How are they heros? Heros for doing a job. That's funny. So this guy is a hero and a criminal...which is it. Is he a former hero but now he's not? It's a job douchebag...just a job.

Wow, such a range of "criminal activities" here. Free coffee to child molestation. Anybody know for sure why he got nailed with impersonating? I haven't found anything but a headline and blurb.

Frank, just a job? Do you have any heroes? Under your terms, military and firefighters are just folks with jobs too? Who are your heroes Frank? Just sayin'. lol People take themselves waaaaaaaaaay to seriously.

YES HE WAS CHARGED, AND HE DESERVED IT! CAN YOU OR I SHOW UP AT A LOCAL FOOTBALL GAME AND WEAR A CHIEF OF POLICE JACKET? NO, WE WOULD BE ARRESTED. I ALSO SAW HIM AT THE GAME AND SO DID MY BOYS, THEY WERE CONFUSED BECAUSE THEY KNOW HE IS NOT AN OFFICER NOR SHOULD HE BE! THE NEW CHIEF IS A HONEST, AND CARING FAMILY MAN, JUST WHAT OUR TOWN NEEDED. PEOPLE SHOULD NOT SAY THINGS ON HERE TO BE MALICIOUS, SPEAK THE TRUTH WITHOUT SUCH ANGER. LIFE IS SHORT.

D'Ambra has never been a hero in the profession of law enforcement. The only law enforcement officer that liked him was himself. Before coming here he was the chief of Bethel which is in Pitt county. Before there he was with Raleigh PD. People in the law enforcement profession in those areas that know him hate him.

He is the most self absorbed unethical individual I have ever met. Wonder if his budy Judge Barnes will hear his case.

Just wondering how Jedele is a hero. Do you have to kidnap a person from their home and murder them to be a hero?

You are one dense and deluded sad individual and are definitely in need of therapy or counseling. They're heroes for risking their lives daily for scumbags like you. And every time there's a thread here, you or someone who sounds like you tries the same old failed flawed argument. Go pound sand.
