A Lawrence county man is killed when fire rages through his home. Fifty four year old Jamie Johnson died Saturday night in that fire on J.W. Miller Road in Jayess. via WLBT-TV Jackson

You cannot imagine how devastating this was to Judith, their children, grandchildren and the community. Jamie was a diabetic and struggled most of his life with the complications. He will be remembered by the kids forever! He was fun! Not only did Judith lose her soul mate but she lost her canine baby in this fire also. Jamie is missed to this day in 2009 as we get his monument ready to place at his grave. When Jamie was with his family it was"A PERFECT DAY".
