Mom: Heroin habit led to fatal bank robbery

“As the suspect continued to approach the officers in a threatening manner, believing that they were in danger of their lives, gunfire ensued leaving (Semenza) dead at the scene.”

David Semenza, 20, was shot and killed by police yesterday after police pulled over the car he was in, which matched the description of a robbery getaway car. via Boston Herald

Very sad...a young man with his whole life ahead of him...May he rest in peace. The agony his parents must be going through.

Heroin is horrible. However, when someone uses it, it is by CHOICE. They are WELL AWARE of the consequences. Yes, it is the parents that always end up in pain. Sad but true.
