Can anyone tell me why the police feel it is necessary to stop traffic on school street for every vehicle leaving the job site. Why can't the construction workers wait until the traffic thins like everyone else that lives or works off of school street. I was stopped yesterday so that a pickup truck could turn onto school street, there was no one behind me, no one coming the other way, but the mansfield police officer stopped me so that the truck would not even have to slow down to turn onto school street. I thought that the police details were there traffic safety, not an automatic greenlight for the construction workers. This whole project is turning into a mess and this is only the beginning I fear.
