Good Luck TonyT...sorry to hear that the criminal case didn't turn out better. Nobody should have to fear being attacked in such a manner in the community. Hopefully there will be a civil action brought and you will see justice served.
Thanks W.F. Appreciate you kind words and thoughts.

Honestly, I really question the education level of many of you. It's not plagerism to quote or relay information that exists in documents written by others for the purpose of using those documents as evidence or as explanation of facts. The laws are the laws, and history is history and as there can be no "personal interetation" of either, repeating information regarding laws and history cannot be plagerism.

I have not heard from anyone yet about helping out with the tree lighting (SCHOOL BAND AND CHOIR, FIRE HOUSE, MEMBERS...) or about elections.

If you would like to proceed with the annual tree lighting please volunteer some time.
If I do not hear from anyone by Monday I can not proceed with the Tree Lighting with just a small few and will have to cancel the ceremony this year.
Membership is due. Please send out ASAP: S.P.B.P.O.A PO BOX 406 Smith Point NY 11967 $52 for the year.
Positions are open- President, Vice President, secretary, treasurer, board members, committee members.
A meeting is scheduled for the last Tuesday this month at the Mastic Shirley Library if we have anyone interested in filling any positions. If you are interested in any positions and are a member in good standing please let us know what position you are interested in.

Happy Holidays!!! Gobble Gobble!!

PS we need help with serving hot cocoa, cider, cookies, candy apples and goody bags at the tree lighting. We also need help decorating the tree next weekend. Anyone who may have some tree ornaments to donate please let me know. We will be decorating the tree next Sunday 11/22 around noon depending on the weather. Tree lighting date is Saturday Nov. 28th 7pm. This date is still somewhat tentative until the fire dept get back to us, but please save this date, I should know by Sunday 11/15.
Anyone who has a business and would like to give info or coupons out at the tree lighting let us know.
Any ideas or anyone who would like to donate time or some baked goods we could really use your help.

Thank You,
Delia

Please be advised that this posting is NOT from the Smith Point Village Exploratory Committee (SPVEC) but is in fact a copy of an email that was sent out by the Smith Point Beach Property Owners Association (SPBPOA). We don't know why this would be posted under this discussion topic.

Delia, get a life. You are such a loser to post on the committee that you talk so badly about's discussion board. This just proves that you have NO ONE but you and a few small uninformed group of people. If they knew the real you, it would be you and your husband. Thats it. Your actions are inexcusable and you should stay in Mastic where you live. Leave the people of Shirley alone.

This post was also posted on our SPVEC village website on the "Your Feedback" section....unbelievable...we'r e not sure if this is a sick joke or if it's intention is to mislead people into thinking this tree lighting is our event in order to get them to show up....either way it's childish

If someone, anyone chooses to pay for a membership with the SPBPOA, can the SPVEC get a cut from the $52 membership fee from the SPBPOA advertising on our thread?

This is not the SPVEC!! Mrs. McKernan needs to stop posting her SPBPOA information here and on our village website - this is the second time she has done this and we will continue to delete them.

Is this the "Delia Christmas Spectacular" that brings controversy every year? Santa's going to put you on his "naughty not nice" list for interfering with other blog spots and websites.

Scrooge McKernan is at it again. Her posting on your website (SPVEC) shows she also knows she has zero support. She goes on there to confuse people into thinking its your group so someone might even show up. I say, what a loser. Someone told me she lives in Mastic is that true? If is is,what a bigger loser, go ruin Mastic and not Shirley.

What's wrong Delia - no one bothering with your website, so now you're here trying to scoop up people that you hope haven't heard of the nonsense you and your wife - oops, husband, pull in the area?

The tax receiver lists you as being in Mastic - why can't you stay there, and leave our area alone?

You're open to all sorts of inspiration today so let it flood your mind. You can sort it out later on, but right now you should be allowing your thoughts to flow in many interesting directions. Jot down your ideas in case you forget them again, because there's a chance that you might be slightly forgetful or absent-minded right now.
