If anyone bothered going to the village meeting on October 8th this question was asked and answered by the Mayor, and no we will not have an armed fire marshal, nor are they petitioning the state to have him armed!!
yes, they were petitioning to have them armed. the petition was DEFEATED. the state of new york said NO. the village had absolutely no say in this matter.

People don't WANT to complain about the village, the village just makes it so easy to do so. Here's one more thing to complain about..... The village adopted all the changes to the fire codes BEFORE the state voted to not allow them. Sooo, once again, the village does what ever they want against the wishes of the people and the demands of the state.
so now what happens to the fire code that was adopted? they cannot keep it the way it is or else they will be going against new york state. any ideas?

Ask the Village attorney. It's not your job to "come up with ideas." Narcissistic nincompoop.

They cant read or use a computer, thats the problem. They also have the problem of not questioning anyone and letting others rule their life.

Someone already tried to stop me by pistol and it didn't work!
Get ready once again to pay over 30 dollars for an awful entree on a 15 year old menu, prepared by an idiot with no culinary schooling!

<quoted text>Or to try to dissolve it. That would have solved ALL your problems.
No just fix it,in March 2014 replace two members of the board and give the power back to the people.
I heard they want to run Alan, remember trustees you can trust, him and Gail.
Boy what a joke that turned out to be.
The village can still be saved and work for the people.
And yes I voted for the village ,and I voted for Alan and Gail.
I think we need two people from the MBPOA to balance the board out so all the people have a say in how this village is run.

You voted for Alan and Gail. Are up you trying to imply they promised you something you didn't get? I am a firm believer that the village works hard for the people. The voters will decide in March which 2 candidates they want to hold office. Unless you are planning to run, it's a bit early to start campaigning.

i too voted for gail and alan. i don't know what would have happened if sandy hadn't happened. as it is, i guess gail got tied up with her own home and didn't have enough time left over to get rid of victor like she promised. we need someone with less encumbrances.
